Well, Tegan Maher is one of my new favorite authors! This book was so well written, and each detail was presented at the perfect pace to keep me completely invested. So many times, I thought, “ok just one more chapter and then I’m going to bed.” Yeah that didn’t happen.

Thank you, Tegan, for writing this delightful book. The characters were so likable and I want to live in this world you’ve created!

I really liked the story,couldn't wait to hear what happened next but that narrator was telling the story like she'd memorized it. she mispronounced words. nasty business. she didn't ruin the book though.it stood up for itself I think.

It was a fun listen but, some of the mispronunciations really interrupted the story. They weren't a southern pronunciation for sure.

Every good person in the south isn't blue collar and has an accent like they are from Tin-ess-cee. I was embarrassed for the narrator to have to read the character descriptions.
