About this listen

This action-packed novel brings the Redemption War to a tension-filled conclusion.

Despite having retro-temporal communication, the war against the 610 insectoid motherships infesting the spiral arm is proving to be difficult. And lurking in the background across the void in the Sagittarius spiral arm, are more insectoid ships of unknown size and number.

Victor Shiloh and his loyal A.I. allies must play a four-dimensional chess game across both space and time against a life-form that is not only shockingly bizarre, but also highly intelligent.

If space battles and grand strategy are your thing, you'll find them in this audiobook.

Well Narrated with a good plot

While the story itself offers a satisfying wrap-up and will appeal to dedicated fans of the series, the narration falls short. Luke Daniels, the previous narrator, brought much more energy and distinction to the characters. The new narrator comes across as dry and monotone, with little vocal differentiation between characters—especially the various AIs—making it difficult to follow at times. This installment feels more like a bonus epilogue than an essential addition to the main storyline. A worthwhile listen for die-hard fans, but not a must for casual readers.

Good, but Luke Daniel's was better

I love the concepts and writing of the original series. Additional add-ons and especially this latest one just got so repetitive then I felt like I'd listened to the same book a hundred times. I disconnected from caring about the outcomes of any character and got bored with the different tactics. The author is clearly very talented but I think perhaps starting a new series to explore these concepts may be the best next step instead of resurrecting and replaying over and over again the same characters. I hope to see a new series.

Like groundhog day but you lived through every single day in detail
