Beautiful Love Story!

I will READ more stories by this author (READ is the operative word). The story was beautiful and touching. I rated it 3 stars becasue of the narrator. While she did a good job with some of the accents she absolutely MUTILATED the accent of the men (Yohan and Christiano). I absolutley love hearing books with European accents however I think Audible should do a better job when picking narrators if they are going to attemp reading in accents. I am more cautious now upon purchasing AUDIBLE stories becasue the narrator means EVERYTHING!

Narrator annoying

The narrator’s accents were brutal. It would have been better with no accents. Story line was slightly unbelievable but captured my attention.

Difficult to get through

The storyline in this book was convoluted and a bit nonsensical but the narration compounded the difficulty and made it very hard to get though this book. I'm just one of those unfortunate people who find it difficult not to finish a book. But I'll never get the 6 hours I lost on this book back. the narrator was pretty bad with his Italian and British accents. But the author was just as bad with her weird plot twists, rabbit holes, and dead ends and her interpretation of how a 4year old thinks and speaks. Not her best attempt.

Not the best

I can’t decide if it is the writing or the narrator but the main character Sam comes across as very Juvenal and annoying.

fairytale

This is an alright book for a fairy tale. It's a mix match of implausible situations to further the plot alone. The Italian accent was slightly irritating and the music before each chapter made me skip forward 10sec . Maybe I'm the wrong audience because besides the sex scene it would have been better off in Harlequin romance rather than Harlequin Presents

Good Read

The narrator had a good tone and did the Italian, German, and English accents well. The plot line is good and I caught myself shedding a few tears while listening, really feeling for the girl. I will look for more books by this author/narrator.

Horrible!

This narrator ruined the whole story for me. Her attempt at an Italian accent was so terrible that it grated on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. Her English accent wasn't even passable and let's just forget mentioning the Scots accent! This was not a pleasurable experience at all.

Not a good listen

The narrator's accent was really, really, really bad, the story implausible. I wish I hadn't purchased.

Terrible

This was the worst book I have ever read or heard. The stupid hero won the even more stupid heroine in a poker game from her then husband. Dont waste your time with this awful book
