About this listen

Dial up the passion with these hot summer listens!

Breaking Bailey's Rules by Brenda Jackson

Rule number one for Bailey Westmoreland: Never fall for a man who would take her away from her tight-knit family's Colorado home. So why is she following rancher Walker Rafferty all the way to Alaska? Bailey tells herself she owes the sexy loner an apology, and once she gets there, it's only right to stay and help him when he's injured…isn't it?

His Until Midnight by Reese Ryan

When Tessa Noble takes the stage at a charity auction after a sexy makeover, her best friend, Ryan Bateman, must place the winning bid. It's definitely not because he's jealous. Their weekend getaway is a ploy for positive press…or so the rancher tells himself. But soon things take an unexpected turn from platonic to passionate, catapulting the couple far beyond the friend zone…

2 for 1

love both of these authors and the stories were great. I always feel like the women are described as strong but become so weak when passion and love start between them and the main male character. I don't like that I think love and passion are strong emotions that should make you strong. I dislike that in all romance novels but still love the HEA

Both stories were great

I enjoyed the stories but the narration for the second story was difficult to get through. I almost missed a good storyline but waited to see what would happen.

Bad mix

I love love Brenda Jackson and the Westmoreland’s and their cousins sometimes too much back story but it helps. This was a great book. The second half TOO MUCH too many curves couldn’t finish I only got through the auction. She’s probably a great author just not a good pair of stories. The narrator was…ok. My opinion only.

Narrator #2

The narrator in book two made me stop listening. I will get the book and read it.

Tempting the Rancher

Brenda always seems have good story ideas when it comes to love but somehow I couldn't really get into this one. It was probably me so I suggest one continue. to read this one. I will always w her fan because she gets what true love is even though it appears to not be possible to find.

Brenda J does it again

Breaking Bailey's Rules was great. I could not get the through the other book. Ms. Jackson has a very intentional style to her writing that others lack. If the writer doesn't complement Ms. J writing style I would rather not read it which was the case with this combo. I did not realize when I purchased that it wasn't two Brenda J titles.

Old book, New title - Don't get fooled

Let me say first of all, I feel like I've been scammed! I saw "The rancher" and immediately thought, Yas a new book by Brenda Jackson! Actually, it's an old book Breaking Baily rules, just a different title. The Narrator Sean Crisden is so Monotone and dry when telling the story I can't get into the book if I wanted to. I'm disappointed I used my last credit to get this book and it's gone to waste. I want a refund.
