Publisher's summary
Meet Mr. Fox and Kitty. They are both two orphans, who stand out from the rest of the children, even the villagers think they are odd. But the Fox and Kitty meet by chance at an orphanage, and Mr. Fox wants nothing more than a family, as well as Kitty.
One day, they meet a mysterious swindler, who is willing to give them anything that they desire which includes riches and wealth beyond their wildest dreams, as he takes them in as his own and makes them part of his family. However, they must carry out the most dangerous task, which is to capture the wooden boy known as Pinocchio, whom he plans to make an enormous profit out of in order to become rich and wealthy, as well as a sinister plot to lure all of the villagerʼs children to a dangerous place known as Pleasure Island, where a dangerous fate awaits all of them.
Will the Fox and Cat make the right choices, or face a dangerous fate that may await them from a very dangerous swindler?

The world of Pravahs suffered from a time of darkness and genocide at their hands. These demon-instructed magi turned the skies black, led an army of the living dead and demons in a global conquest, and left miles of burned earth in their hellfire assaults. Their defeat was nothing short of miraculous. While the land remembers, people forget. The people of the continent of Stratia have dismissed the ancient "Black Decade" as myth, even while their blood runs cold with fear at the mention of the dreaded "Void Hands".

Story
Aside from the political unrest in many of the stories, extra tension is evident when looked at the complicated buildup of the characters’ character, and their continuous need to develop into something more. These fantasy stories are short but powerful. They heavily focus on complex structures that deal with moral dilemmas in a world of magic, supernatural powers, and unrealistic appearances of creatures that are only fictitious to the unbeliever.
