About this listen
MY SHIP WAS DESTROYED
Walking toward the nearest town, I see bonfires and hear humans singing. I wonder momentarily if I’ve time traveled into the past. Thankfully my hood covers my face, which is the tell-tale sign I’m not human. But I’ll have to find someone to help me to contact the Alliance Force. They don’t even know I’m on Earth. My mission was so secret that no one but the High Council knew.
I look around at the human faces. Who is the most trustworthy and open-minded among these humans? Then I see her illuminated by a light above her. The goddesses are guiding me to whom I must trust, and it doesn't hurt that she's an adorable human. I make my way through the crowd straight toward her.
BUT ADORABLE LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING. WILL SHE HELP ME OR BETRAY ME?

The Alliance Holiday Series is set in the present day. However, aliens, especially the Alliance fleet, play an important role in humanity’s interactions in the galaxy (even if most humans are unaware). Enter this alien world and follow these human women to the Alliance Empire, a matriarchal society where women have always ruled, but Alliance men have always dominated their hearts. There are few heroes or women being rescued. Instead, listeners are led through complex traditions of an alien culture: mazes of alien courting rituals, obedience to strict religious codes, and often uncomfortable compromises, all while chasing romance and marriage. Every door is open in the Holiday Alliance Series.
Each book is standalone but can be traced back to something the women in House Human discovered about the Alliance’s relationship with Earth 600 years later in the Renascence Alliance Series. An overarching story is intertwined throughout the series, but it is not necessary to listen to the books chronologically to enjoy the romance of each individual book.

Great story and amazing performance
The story line was great. This book was a fun listen about a fake marriage turned to lovers. There were definitely some parts that brought me to tears and some that made me LOL.

Walpurgis Night!
This is a fairly new author for me and I was pleasantly surprised in the few stories I have read by the author. It is an alien romance about Georgiana and Axl. The author created an interesting and intriguing science fiction story with an interesting spin. I thought the narration was really good and brought the characters and their story to life. I look forward to reading/listening to more by this author.

I Enjoyed It
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun story. I love the fake relationship/marriage trope and have read quite a number of them. This was my first with an alien needing a human woman to pretend to be his wife so that he can get back to his planet, and a woman who thinks she is playing a role in some game in order to win a lot of money. (Though he has told her repeatedly it's not a game and he would give her the money to successfully convince the Alliance they are married). I liked both Axl and Georgiana. A fun adventure.
Jill Smith and Jack Calihan did a great job bringing these characters to life. I especially liked Jill's voice.

HE FOUND HIS MATE
Paul and Aisling. Paul is sharing the mafia duties with brother Bobbie. When Bobbies wife is injured he takes over the control. Then he has to re marry to Aisling. Drama, intrigue danger, arranged marriage (again), mafia power struggle, all the mafia stuff that makes a good read.

Fake Marriage 🤝 Alien Romance
📖 Summary:
Axl is a stranded alien on a mission to get back home — even if it means using a very gullible Earth girl to do it. He falls first (obviously).
Georgiana? A little airheaded, full of sunshine, and in deep denial about being abducted by aliens. Fake marriage? She thinks it’s a joke. Ma’am 🤦🏽♀️
📚 Bookish Moments:
Marriage of convenience meets Alien Intergalactic politics and religion. This was hilarious, messy, and dramatic.
The priestess took way too much joy in the whipping scene 😭
Miscommunication was a constant guest — not my favorite trope, especially near the end.
🌌 Worldbuilding:
Loved how the silly, lighthearted start evolved into deep cultural exploration.
The traditions, rules, and alien religious trauma were woven in beautifully — and honestly, it got kinda heartbreaking. I hated the way Axl’s sister spoke down to him 😭.
💭 Final Thoughts:
If you love aliens, culture clashes, and the fake marriage trope, this one’s for you.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — would read again, even if Georgie had me yelling “girl, WHAT” half the time.
⸻
🎧 Narration Style: Dual
⭐️ Audio Score: 4 stars
🔁 Re-listen Worthy: Absolutely — but I’ll still be yelling at the characters to just communicate the entire time.

Love finds a way.
The fifth story in the Alliance Holiday, the story is told in a two point of view setting. Axl has been sent on a secret mission by his empress but he ends up crashing on Earth. where he seeks aid from Georgiana. The story is another great addition to this series, that ends with a happy ending. The Empress was really one jealous, nasty woman and his Mother and sister also where just as nasty. I liked the cover. I enjoyed listening to Jill Smith and Jack Calihan narrate this story.

Sci-fi romance
The Alien I Fell in Love with on Walpurgis Night is a delightful blend of sci-fi romance and holiday magic. Alma Nilsson's storytelling takes listeners on a unique journey where an alien finds himself stranded on Earth, on a secret mission, only to stumble upon an unexpected connection with a human woman during Walpurgis Night celebrations. The premise of a fake marriage adds a charming dynamic to the story, building tension and chemistry between the leads.
The narrative is light-hearted yet emotionally compelling, with themes of trust, adventure, and finding love in unexpected places. The alien hero, with his mysterious and otherworldly nature, contrasts wonderfully with the human heroine’s relatable charm, making their connection feel genuine and heartwarming. It’s a perfect listen for those who love alien romances with a happy-ever-after.
The audiobook is well-narrated by Jill Smith and Jack Calihan, who bring their respective characters to life with distinct and engaging performances. Smith captures the heroine’s spirited personality, while Calihan nails the voice of the alien hero, making their chemistry even more enjoyable. The dual narration adds depth, making the dialogue exchanges between the characters come alive, adding an extra layer of immersion.
This standalone romance offers a sweet escape into a world where love truly transcends galaxies. If you're a fan of sci-fi romance with a sprinkle of holiday charm and a fake marriage twist, this audiobook will be a fun and satisfying listen.

Excellent Sci-Fi Romance
This is the fifth book in the Alliance Holiday Series, a Sci-Fi Romance. Axl and Georgiana's story is fun, emotional, entertaining, and engaging. This is one of my favorite in the series. Axl is enigmatic, and handsome. I liked his determination. Georgiana is feisty, naive, and smart. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. Some scenes are hilarious! The world building is intriguing, and captivating. Jill Smith and Jack Calihan did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to My Oktoberfest Alien, the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Fun and Magical Alien Romance!
"The Alien I Fell in Love with on Walpurgis Night" is a blast! This story hooked me right away, with an alien (Axl) stranded on Earth during a mysterious night, stumbling into a fake marriage with a human (Georgiana). The chemistry between them is amazing, and I loved how their relationship goes from awkward to heartwarming.
The narrators, Jill Smith and Jack Calihan, are fantastic. Jack really nails the Alx’s confusion and determination, while Jill brings Georgiana's charm to life.
I have never heard of Walpurgis Night but this book enticed me go and lookup what its all about.
If you’re into sci-fi romance or just want a unique love story with a twist, I definitely recommend this audiobook! It’s a standalone, so you can dive right in and enjoy the ride.
