About this listen
"You're just a young woman. What makes you think you can bring down a cabal of some of the richest, most powerful men in the world?"
"I have justice on my side."
Your name is Dani McKay. Daughter of a famous, bestselling author.
You've never been the same since your shocking abduction twelve years ago.
When you spot your kidnapper at your mother’s book signing in Berlin, you're determined to get answers.
But by going after him, you open a Pandora’s Box of shocking revelations about your family and put yourself and your mother’s life in peril! Because you're going up against a network of powerful, wealthy men who have everything to lose if their filthy secret is exposed.
The backlash is swift and fierce. Soon after, your father Charles McKay, British Ambassador to Germany, is found dead in your hotel room shortly after telling you the truth about the kidnapping. Your mother Elle is apprehended as a person of interest and flown back to Washington DC for questioning by the authorities.
And now, they're coming for you.
All you have are your wits, your gumption, and your determination to get justice at any cast.
With the help of a small group of loyal, resourceful friends, and an idealistic US Senator, you take on a Goliath.
The odds are stacked against you, but you're determined to fight to the bitter end to expose the truth and ensure that justice is done, not just for your sake, but for other young women like yourself.
Embark on a pulse-pounding, page-turning journey through one brave young woman's eyes as she fights for justice in a thrill-ride with one heart-stopping twist after another!
An unputdownable thriller with a killer ending by the author of the Susan Parker series!

It stuttered, mispronounced simple words, pronounced acronyms as real words and kept mispronouncing the character names to the point I couldn’t follow the plot.
I wanted to stop and review this about a 1/4 of the way through but had to endure it a bit longer. I let it play and fell asleep[from boredom].
I gave the story a 3, as I still believe it had potential, but I will get the actual book and read it, skipping the virtual voice disaster.
Recommendation to the author: re-record this with a real person one who knows how to pronounce helluva and not say w-t-f as word.
You did your creation a disservice going with the computer narrator.
