Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Ava Richardson and Mago Weston team up again to make this amazing audiobook. The Ancestral Forces is the sixth story in the Charassi’s Fae Queen series. An evil ancient force is about to escape from its prison that may wipeout not just the Far realm but everything. Fae creatures, dragons and even humans will have to fight for survival. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, and more.

A Good Conclusion to the Series
A great and satisfying ending to the series! The story was filled with plenty of action and suspense. I enjoyed seeing the good guys come together, using their strengths and teamwork to take a stand against evil. The battles were intense, and the story kept me engaged the whole way through. Overall, it was a thrilling and well-done conclusion that wrapped up the series in a way that felt rewarding. The narration was great by Mago Weston for all 6 books!

Brings It All Together So Masterfully!
I believe this wraps up the story of the entire Charassi's Fae Queen series. Or at least, I haven’t seen this author's series extended beyond six books. I absolutely adored this series, as I do most by this author! This book has so many things to like about it. I loved how the heroine's Texas family figured so prominently in this book, bringing unique human abilities to help the magical realm of Charassi. The heroine's little sister has a special spotlight shone on her—loved both her sweetness and sass!—and she actually has a minor story arc herself. (In fact, I think she and the dragon hatchling deserve their own series showing what happens to them as they mature.) The young dragon in this story suffers so much through no fault of her own, and watching those affected by it—her parents, the king and queen, and the heroine's younger sister—was sweet and heartbreaking. The hero and heroine’s bond only deepens as they face peril and try to save their realm together. The epilogue is the perfect victory lap for the love story aspect of the series. I found the ancestral forces, first met at the end of the last book, an intriguing concept, and we meet them again at a pivotal moment in this one. For eternal forces that created the realms, they certainly have their Achilles heel! I've been fascinated by how magic is portrayed in this realm, weaving primal forces and elements into threads depending on what is needed for magical offense or defense. In the final scene, we fully understand what that power at the most profound level truly means and can do—such breathtaking things! I highly recommend this book and the entire series. While the author does provide background at the beginning of the book about what’s gone before in the series, you will far better appreciate all the relationships and what the characters are up against if you have read (or listened to) all the other books in this series in order. Highly recommended.
