About this listen

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." (Father Pierre Teilhard De Chardin)

Let's go on a journey together and discover how we shed the ego, slink out of the abyss, and ascend towards the light retaining a passion and love for oneself and others that defies our imagination. Our past doesn't define us, nor does our future. We are defined by the value and love we store within our hearts, and it is this loving action that imprints itself in indelible ink upon the world as we move swiftly through the labyrinth. Join me on this journey as we awaken ourselves to new possibilities while we release the toxicity and embrace the joy.

A path to wisdom

In The Art of Being Whole Greg Copploe helps us see the beauty and lessons hidden in our day to day lives. The book is structured as an autobiography, with interspersed poems as well as lessons learned from Greg's adventures and businesses. And within each of these episodes there is a hidden truth, a gem of wisdom that we can take an apply in our own lives.

Without revealing any spoilers, there is a part of the book in which Greg talks about an important person in his live, a love interest. And how he wasn't at a stage of maturity yet to appreciate how this truly exceptional love story was. This can be a call to action for many of us to remember to appreciate the special people in our lives.

The book is a short read, but full of interesting stories, both in the personal as well as business arena. In addition to a career in acting, writing and the arts, Greg has started several successful businesses, which he talks about in detail in the book.

As far as the audiobook itself, the narration is exceptional. As would be expected given that it's done by the author himself. Very good dictation, rhythm and neutral accent make the book easy to understand. Even if listening while driving in a noisy environment.
