About this listen

The Art of War is the most famous and longest-lasting book on the practice of war. The book does not mince words: war is about winning; it is not a gentleman's game; it is about using every means at one's disposal to tip the odds in one's favor. Of the centuries, this book has been used by military figures, war departments, business people, educators, and politicians, to name a few. This is the original work without additional editorial comment.

Give it a chance then it's very good

This is an ancient manuscript that is read very plainly. after getting used to the readers voice this is a very compelling piece of history that can be listened to again and again.

Interesting, however...

Really not a fan of the narrator. There are numerous hiccups and pauses that shouldn't be there and gives a feeling they forgot to edit

Word switcher

This guy likes to go pretty quickly which made him get his words mixed up on a lot of things. He skips a lot of parts. However the book was full read so that's about all you can really say 🤷🏼‍♂️

Poor narrator

The narrator's tone is inconsistent. His pitch varies and makes it rather difficult to hear every word that's spoken.
The book itself begs to be listened to and applied regularly.

Good presentation for Audio

The narrative presentation was appropriate and structured for the listener rather than a reader. The material presented in The Art of War should be contemplated and reviewed, and the audio version is set up to facilitate.

Guy sounds interested but editing issues

So I would recommend you to listen to this over and over again to actually receive the wisdom. There ate some editing issues near the end, I highly suggest reading it vs listening to it, because it is much easier to pause and think about the principles while reading

Not bad for the price

Not bad for the price but sometimes I caught myself continuously having to rewind because I couldn't understand what he said, so I guess i would have to say the voice over wasn't that great.
