Charles Finney
About this listen
Charles Finney was one of the most influential and controversial revivalists during the Second Great Awakening in the mid-1800s. During a time when the church had grown stagnant and cold, Finney was one of the forerunners to come directly against the mainstream, and completely turn the tides against that apathy. His direct approach to preaching the Gospel, in calling out sinners directly and teaching that holiness was possible, was unique even in today's culture. He also taught a revolutionary concept that the church still hasn't grasped in its entirety, that if we ask in faith and remove all spiritual obstacles, answers to prayer can come instantly.
In his autobiography, Charles Finney goes into great detail about his ministry and the many revivals he spearheaded. He gives incredibly valuable details about how he operated in those revivals, the strategies he used to bring them about, his response to the constant controversies surrounding him, and much more. This book is, without a doubt, one of the greatest treasures in church history.
May the Lord bless you are you read, and may He bring revival to our land once again.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth was a man who healed all who came to him with power from the Holy Spirit. There was no challenge too great for him, and all who saw him knew he was sent from God. Story
The injunction to seek God's kingdom first, implies that we seek it first in point of time. It should be the first thing attended to. It is not merely to be admitted as of first importance, but should really be put first in point of time. The first thoughts of each morning should be given to it. And whenever God's word, or his providence brings before our mind the invitations or the claims of this kingdom, we are to remember that now is the accepted time.

The journal contains 50 years' worth of this great man's reflections and experiences and is widely considered one of the great spiritual classics.

The book that you have found is not just a book. It is a treasure that has been virtually hidden and forgotten for over 100 years. The Welsh revival is one of the most famous and impactful revivals in modern history. However, there has been very little written on it by actual eyewitnesses because of the belief that no person should take any credit for what happened.

Story
George Müller was a Christian evangelist and director of the Ashley Down orphanage in Bristol, England. The Life of Trust contains his diary up to 1860, supplemented by autobiographical notes at the start and throughout the text. Mueller founded a number of orphanages in England in the 19th century whilst refusing to personally benefit in any way, fully trusting that God would provide in his financial needs. Throughout his life, he relied on God’s goodness in order to feed, clothe, and house thousands of English children under his care.

As a fourteen-year-old intent on living a “modern” life, the last thing Isobel Kuhn wanted to grow up to be was a missionary. But as it turned out, this young agnostic’s life was redirected―from crisis and doubt to hope and strength. Convinced that God wanted her to preach the gospel as a China Inland missionary, Isobel bravely served among the Lisu people in remote mountainous regions of China and Thailand. Story
The Feasts of Israel, set by God, are not only commemorative in a historical context, but are also prophetic. The first three feasts in the first month point to the Messiah's First Coming; the last three feasts in the seventh month to his Second Coming. The middle feast highlights the Church, in more ways than is generally recognized. This briefing reveals the rich background of these feasts with many surprises for the Biblical believer and yet only scratches the surface.

Story
The great American revivalist Charles Finney, without a doubt, left an enduring impression on Earth. To this day thousands of lives are impacted and transformed by his ministry. He is largely known for the incredible miracles that God worked through him during his ministry years, and many have sought to walk in the same level of power he did. However, Finney was very clear that the only way to walk in any significant level of anointing was through the doorway of prayer. Not dead, formulaic, religious prayers, but deep, intimate time with God; especially the Holy Spirit.
