We see his journey. How did he survive the early days of the apocalypse? Be warned, he has, perhaps, the most harrowing story of any of the protagonists in the growler chronicles. He starts Z day in the nightmare called Highschool, he is 14, young, dumb, and full of… distractions, and self-recriminations. He is a survivor though. But what he faces in a pitch black basement... Story
The Omega Covid variant hits the world, and it's different. It kills the unvaccinated but the dead don't stay dead. When the dead rise they have one aim and that is to kill the uninfected to spread the plague. But there is something ominous behind the variant, it has been designed, it has a purpose. Carl, a self declared middle aged loser, finds himself having to learn the art of survival in a real life zombie apocalypse, where the dead are just part of the problem. A new world order is trying to assert itself; they engineered the Omega variant, which is just the beginning of their plans.

Story
It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are). It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu.

I just love these stories. They are so addictive. The characters are very good,my favorite is Devon. It's nice that a boy can be a hero too.

Poorly read , virtual voice is bad
The virtual voice did not do the story justice. It was poorly red. It paused in the wrong areas and had no emotional reflection to make the story come alive.
The story itself was interesting. Interesting and exciting.
