Some good information, but not the best book

It’s worth learning from the 4 points the author brings forth, but it’s far from a true formula to create a bestseller. While bestsellers all have these qualities, not all books that have these qualities are bestsellers. There’s only a brief nod to the actual quality of writing, and no mention of building trust and relatability with the reader, which the author doesn’t really do in this book. It’s presented as the result of a research study, but I suspect it was not a very thorough study. I honestly felt disappointed in the quality of the book. That said, there is definitely some valuable information in it, the formula IS quite useful (though it’s not enough in its own) and I will take some of the insights forward in my own writing.
