About this listen

Book 3 of the Moralities of Marriage series.

Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet find nothing but a mess in London after they escape Kent. With the Wickham's caught up in Lord Strange's illegal business venture, Darcy has little choice but to make unsavory friends as Elizabeth heals from her cousin's attack. With the support of the Bingleys, Darcy and Elizabeth are finally ready to secure their future at the anvil in Gretna Green when Elizabeth has one small request.

The Blessing of Marriage continues the rewriting of Jane Austen's amazing story of Pride and Prejudice, wondering what might have happened if Darcy never saved Georgiana from the clutches of Mr. Wickham.

I feel sorry for Elizabeth on this story but despite everything they pursued on their plan/love. This is a lengthy series (this is the third book) I enjoyed the story but would like to see the HEA (ending of their story) Need to read this different version of P & P. Looking forward to the next book.

I was given a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I enjoy great detail in a story such as Outlander. This particular series The Moralities of Marriage is just tedious.
They are torturing the main 2 characters and nothing righteous ever happens along the way for the truly evil personalities. The characters are drawn as truly baddies and our heroes true but beaten on repeatedly. after 3 books and they still aren't married.
I will not buy more. Shame on you for milking it

Stretching out a story
