In the time it takes for a villain to breathe his last, Anne and her mother, Dauphine, suddenly inherit Belrose Abbey -- a gothic castle set on a monstrous estate, complete with devious servants, mysterious forests, and the darkest of secrets. The more they settle into their new home, the more unsettling the house becomes. What do all the unmarked graves mean? Where are all the people who had arrived on the estate but then vanished? And could there really be an abandoned insane asylum on the property? Although Anne and Dauphine are determined to purge all the horrors from Belrose Abbey, this new mystery could very well be their undoing.

Anne and her mother, Dauphine, are back and Belrose Abbey is as strange and mysterious as ever. Things going bump, faces at windows, items disappearing, new people coming to work, and many twists and turns............oh did I mention romance? I am anxious to where this series will lead.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Michelle Babb voices these characters with flair!

Would you listen to The Bloodstone Vial again? Why?
I think i would if there was a next book i was going to listen to. I would listen to all of them before the new one just to get a feel of the setting again. it was hard to jump back into the strange after only a short time between the first book and the second. but well worth itWhat was one of the most memorable moments of The Bloodstone Vial?
I would have to say the most memorable moment is the bridge. That part kinda freaked me out since i am always scared of it happening to me on a bridgeWhich scene was your favorite?
The Bridge! Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, i wanted to know what else was going to happen. This series i have discovered is one that anything can and might happenAny additional comments?

Great suspense and much intrigue !Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Never knowing what was going happen next!Which character – as performed by Michelle Babb – was your favorite?
Anne is my favorite because she loves books! Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Anne and Wyatt come across the graves in the clearing .Any additional comments?
I liked everything about this story! Listening to this book was so interesting that I've already listened to it 3x. So much mystery packed in you will not be bored at all and clean, no language or inappropriate scenes. The narrator, "Michelle Babb" ,did a wonderful job making the characters have their own voice and distinct personality.
My favorite characters are Wyatt and Anne because they seem very human. Trouble follows Ann allot as well as her mom and in this book no time has past between The Ruby Locket to The Bloodstone Vial so you don't have to wonder what's happened and you can pickup the story right away.
Anne, Wyatt and her mom Dauphine have just barely survived Ivan Hellsburgs attempts to silence them forever and now they are having to deal with more buried secrets as well as servants who have issues as they adjust to being the new owners of Belrose Abbey. Like people coming to the abbey but never leaving and no one knows what's happened to them. The more they investigate the case the weirder things become and the more danger that threatens them. Trouble is a brewing and Anne and Dauphine, along with Wyatt, and with the new stable hand need to solve the mystery fast before time runs out.
