Anne and her mother, Dauphine, are back and Belrose Abbey is as strange and mysterious as ever. Things going bump, faces at windows, items disappearing, new people coming to work, and many twists and turns............oh did I mention romance? I am anxious to where this series will lead.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Michelle Babb voices these characters with flair!

2nd book So much better than the 1st
This story takes up exactly where book 1 stopped. This Mystery is done so much better with more depth and characters were more real.
The Narrator did a Wonderful job with the characters and the storyline on this Audible book.

a bit confusing at first but ended really great!!
Would you listen to The Bloodstone Vial again? Why?
I think i would if there was a next book i was going to listen to. I would listen to all of them before the new one just to get a feel of the setting again. it was hard to jump back into the strange after only a short time between the first book and the second. but well worth it
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Bloodstone Vial?
I would have to say the most memorable moment is the bridge. That part kinda freaked me out since i am always scared of it happening to me on a bridge

Loved This book!!!
This is a continuation of Book 1, The Ruby Locket. While the first one was less Exciting, being a lead up to this one as they often are , even though it was very good also. , This one brought everything together. It was very well performed from the story to the narration. I am very picky about my reading and often times I do not finish one. So anytime I listen to, or read a book all the way through, it is a very good book. Both these books kept me interested all the way to the end. So if you like a good mystery, that has a great story with great narrators grab these 2. They are so worth it.

Wonderful follow to the Belrose Abbey story!
Soon after the events of book 1, Anne's mom pulls up her sleeves and tries to turn around the state of Belrose Abbey. Sadly, she and Anne have to overcome mysteries that persist, a crew that's shaken by the prior events and ... where does that mysterious stamp come from?
Another well written book by Anita Higman and Hillary McMullen, fantastically narrated by Michelle Babb.

Great suspense and much intrigue !

I liked everything about this story! Listening to this book was so interesting that I've already listened to it 3x. So much mystery packed in you will not be bored at all and clean, no language or inappropriate scenes.
The narrator, "Michelle Babb" ,did a wonderful job making the characters have their own voice and distinct personality.
My favorite characters are Wyatt and Anne because they seem very human. Trouble follows Ann allot as well as her mom and in this book no time has past between The Ruby Locket to The Bloodstone Vial so you don't have to wonder what's happened and you can pickup the story right away.
Anne, Wyatt and her mom Dauphine have just barely survived Ivan Hellsburgs attempts to silence them forever and now they are having to deal with more buried secrets as well as servants who have issues as they adjust to being the new owners of Belrose Abbey. Like people coming to the abbey but never leaving and no one knows what's happened to them. The more they investigate the case the weirder things become and the more danger that threatens them. Trouble is a brewing and Anne and Dauphine, along with Wyatt, and with the new stable hand need to solve the mystery fast before time runs out.

Great follow up, sad there seems to be no more.
Definitely the stronger of the two books, wish there was more. Tension in this one was much stronger than the first. Kind of fun how the very first chapter of the first book had a foreshadowing for the events of the second book.

Book two is even better
Book one was good but book two was even better. Book one will set the backdrop for this story. Book two continues with the story of Belrose Abbey. I was surprised by some of the developments in this book. You can read the synopsis in the description so I will not repeat that information.
The performance by Ms. Babb was great. Her voices for the different characters are excellent. She is one of my favorite narrators.
I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Great series
This is book 2 in the series "The Belrose Abby Mystery". I have read book one in the series already and really liked it. I also really like this book. These mysteries are not the usual crime who done it mysteries or even a cozy type, but I am intrigued. We start this book with the ending of book one. So we find Dauphine has inherited the Abby and she and her daughter Anne are settling in. But there is yet another mystery that needs to be addressed before life can be calm at the Abby. Michelle Babb is the narrator again and she does a wonderful job. Michelle helps to bring this book alive. I was gifted this audiobook with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.
