the attitude

The narrator is excellent. The characters a very well developed. Brings you back to the time gone past. Will listen to again.

Listening to someone chew gum

This actually wonderful narrator decided that he had to make the noises of gum chewing for the character who is chewing gum… Unfortunately, that was a big part of the story, and I could not keep listening

Simple Deduction

When you put Perry Mason on the job, the solution is bound to be a tumultuous affair that only he can solve. A book full of satire, fear, murder, & secrets.

Narrator needs stol

I've listened to several Perry Mason books read by Cendese and he annoys me. His women share the same voice frequently which makes it difficult to understand at times. Furthermore the way he breaks up dialog with "he said", for example, are completely, in my opinion, miss read. These books are filled with conversation. The way these are read seems to me that he doesn't understand what he is reading. The descriptions, on the other hand, are fine. I enjoyed listening to them.

Character portrayal was off

I’ve read over 30 perry mason books and have some understanding of these characters. I could not listen past 2nd chapter. Mason sounded like a combination of lionel barrymore and cary grant doing a 1930s radio drama. Enough said.
