Publisher's summary
It's time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.
Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa. Thanos was never a part of his mothers' plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mothers' were concerned, but Taryn usually gets his way.
The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version of Mistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through Goodreads.
The Cellar is much like the deleted scenes from your favorite movie. I've taken several scenes that were either cut short or removed from the book Appearances, and elaborated on them to create the short, sexy, and steamy novella.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
Hockey coach Ashley Jaswal doesn't take nonsense from anyone … except her overbearing and superstitious family. They believe she's a good luck charm for her brother Jas, the newest Vancouver Canucks draft pick, forcing Ash to attend all his games as he rises up the NHL ranks, sacrificing her personal life (not that she has one—who decided hockey season needed to be 10 months long anyway?). Ash also clashes with Jas’s teammate, Canucks captain Devin Snyder.

Story
Asher Donovan is a living legend—the darling of the Premier League, the (arguably) greatest footballer in the world. But his reckless antics and recent team transfer have caused much controversy, and when his feud with his rival-turned-teammate costs them a championship, they’re forced to “bond” during off-season cross-training. Surviving the summer shouldn’t be hard…until Asher meets their new trainer. She’s beautiful, talented, and no matter how hard he tries, he can’t take his mind off her.

Great Scenes
This is a great listen that has expanded scenes from book 2 in the series. I really enjoyed getting more background on Taryn and Thanos and everything that they went through and had to do in order to end up together. More of Tanis and Raven is always a good thing especially when it's so HOT! I really hope book 2 comes out in audio soon because I would really love to listen to thst one n\and get a better understanding. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

5 stars, excellent story and narration!
The Cellar is a wonderful look at those scenes that don't appear in Appearances, yet still enrich the Opposites series as a whole...and of course make fans of the series like me REALLY happy by giving us just a bit more of the characters we love.
I love how Taryn fights for what-or rather WHO-he wants, and the story of how he and Thanos meet and come together is sweet, moving, and of course steamy hot! When it comes to Raven and Tanis, I can never get enough of the two of them so this sizzling, sexy glimpse of them really helps stave off those withdrawals of missing the two of them together once I'd read Opposites and Appearances. Don't even get me started on Aiyan and Kaden...those two have been naughty from the start, and this quick look at them in the mistletoe scene is no different (thank goodness!) ;-)
As for the narration of this tasty novella, Greg Boudreaux does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. I love the accents, and he gives every character a unique, consistent voice throughout the story. The pacing is perfect, and I could listen to this over and over...and probably will be doing so pretty soon! And as for the intimate scenes? Refer back to that "bringing characters to life" part...oh yes.
5 stars for The Cellar, both for the story and the excellent audio narration! Recommended for M/M readers 18+ (for adult language and explicit M/M sexual content), especially if you are a fan of sci-fi/dystopian stories. This is book #2.5 in the series, and while I suppose it could stand alone, I would strongly recommend reading/listening to the series in order for the best understanding and to lower the amount of spoilers.

What happened in the cellar OOPS didn't stay there
The Cellar is a short collection of deleted scenes and scenes that help us understand the Opposites better. This is book 2.5 and best read in order. This is one of my favorite books because I loved Taryn and Thanos. I loved getting how they met and defied Taryn's mother to get to marry. I Also liked getting more scenes about Raven and Tanis. The Adult version of Mistletoe and Mayhem is also so much fun. Aiyan and Kaden's sexual escapes bring the house down and makes me want to go furniture shopping . There is a good mix of happy, sad and humor in the story to make this a great story to add to your collection.
Greg Boudreaux is a fabulous narrator. He can bring characters to life and make the heat even hotter with his breathlessness or gasping etc when needed. he not only reads but acts out with his voice the scenes to make them more enticing.
If you like post apocalypse stories or futuristic, some lighthearted but super-hot mansex, and hot romance you will love this.

A quick Bonus Short!
I absolutely loved this bonus short!
It contains deleted scenes and snippets between Taryn and Thanos and a bit of their backstory. If you have read the series, you will love this short bonus accompaniment.
Greg Boudreaux did an amazing audio delivery as usual.
You must read the series becore diving into this one to make sense of the story line. It's about an hour's listen and pretty short and entertaining!

bonus scenes
I enjoyed the short snippets of deleted scenes. You can feel the power of the commitment between Taryn and Thanos, regardless of their station the love flows freely both ways. I enjoyed the bonus scenes. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job.

A must for fans of the series or Greg!
If you’ve been a fan of the series, this gives us more background into the night that Taryn and Thanos broke all the rules and become lovers.
It’s told in bits and bursts- mixing present day with past recollections.
Greg Boudreaux’s narration is perfect! He’s so very easy to listen to and does a wonderful job with the myriad accents in the story.
I think anyone who hadn’t read the previous stories might be a bit lost, but for fans of the series this a must! It’s great learning about how these two strong characters bucked the system and we get peeks at the other characters as well.

Amazing Deleted Scenes
The Cellar is a short companion novella of deleted scenes from The Opposites. This is absolutely a book that is best read in order as the scenes are told as a mix between the past and the present. Greg Boudreaux did an absolutely amazing job with this collection! He truly brought the stories to life and made the scenes HOT! Truly a series not to miss!
