Chase Baker is a true Renaissance man. He’s also a man who knows how to find trouble. A part-time resident of Florence, Italy, his resume reads like a modern day Da Vinci or Casanova. Writer, private investigator, tour guide, historian, treasure hunter, adventurer, and even archaeological sandhog, Chase is also a prolific lover. Unfortunately for him, his dangerous liaisons all too often make him the target of a jealous husband.

Now for the first time ever, the first three full-length novels in the popular international action/adventure/romantic suspense series are available for one low price in this special edition collection.

For fans of Clive Cussler, JR Rain, Dan Brown, and Michael Crichton comes a romantic, action-packed, and thrilling mystery series from New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Vincent Zandri.

Very entertaining!

I thought all three book were entertaining, and interesting. Full of action and alternative history sci-fi. Although some of the religious references are a bit much at times, it was a fascinating listen.
The narrator was great, very well spoken and easy to listen to.

A nice book, but...

...not really a thriller. The book is full of action no doubt and the plot is interesting to listen to most of the time, but the focus is put a bit too much on religion for my taste (finding Jesus' bones).

Also, in my view the narrator's voice was almost the same all the time (he did not really read the different characters too well, so that you could distinguish them). That made the listening- experience a bit monotonous after a couple of hours.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A trio of entertaining, fun adventures.

We’re presented with three novels for the price of one, which is a pretty good deal. Book one, The Shroud Key, is an exciting action/adventure/thriller in the same vein as Indiana Jones. In this first volume our imaginations are stimulated with the likes of the Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Shroud of Turin, and the presumption that the bones of Jesus Christ are buried within the Giza Plateau. Chase Baker; The Renaissance Man, writer, sandhog, private detective, and prolific womanizer is initially hired to find his friend and archeologist Andre Manion. The plot quickly escalates into the hunt for the final resting place of Jesus Christ. The story is quite interesting with plenty of action and adventure.
Book two; The Golden Condor, in this venture Chase is searching for the existence of an artifact that will “turn the world upside down and challenge the foundations of western civilization and its religion.” This is an exciting tale focusing on the possibility of alien visitation in our distant past. This topic has been covered many times referencing cave drawings, carvings, and crop circles which can only be identified from high altitude. Chase brings his unique archeology/detective perspective to the subject creating another action packed adventure.
Book three; The God Boy, although the God Boy is my least favorite of the three it is still a fun and entertaining read with plenty of action. The religious theme carries through in this story as in the previous two, although it focuses on the Hindu beliefs this time around. This tale is more of a search for a missing boy with the author’s usual twists and turns. The narrator, Andrew Wehrlen, did a fine job in each of the stories. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

Great Stories

Chase Baker and Golden Condor.
.......Vincent.Zandri
...narrator .Andrew.B.Wherlen
Chase Baker and his team are off to the jungles to find an Inca ancient golden flying machine. The son, it was his father not finding it 40 years ago, that was funding the project. Suspense, adventure as they encounter rebels, and a sci-fi legend. Narration by Wherlen was good, clear and added greatly to the story.
Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

GOD. BOY
Dr.Singh has sought Baker out, and he wonders why. He has a five year old son Rajesh After he was born an outcast for was different in appearance.
The Jain Dharma heard of him and consider him a living god. Now there is something different about his son not of this world, and he heals.
He is missing, taken as though he is the Hindu God Kali .There was no way he would do this, until he said Elizabeth Flynn. Time back when I met her she was set on finding the golden Kali statue, and the love for her has never been forgotten. The discovery of the soul that was Elizabeth, and the thought someday he may see that again. Powerful story, full of the emotions and depth of love, these 2 men had. I found it an unusual plot, and enjoyed it, a winner for the author.

Exciting Adventures

If you like treasure seeking adventure, you are sure to enjoy Vincent Zandri's trilogy. Chase Baker finds himself in search of invaluable treasures. Their nature ensures that others will be seeking the treasures as well. In danger from the search itself along with the other factions, he must stay a step ahead, or catch up from behind.

The narration is very well done. Loved the conversational tone used by Andrew Wehrlen. All three were past paced and exciting. Not sure I could pick a favorite!

Fast paced adventure

90% Clive Cussler, 10% Dan Brown. Oh, and a spirited main character that has sex on the mind and adventure in the heart. Good, fast paced stories.

Lacks depth, but a fun listen nonetheless.

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of action going on in The Chase Baker Trilogy. What I really wish there had been more of is depth; in the story and the characters. There's an overarching superficiality that permeates throughout. All that being said, I didn't dislike this story. It's a fun read/listen, and I was satisfied with the conclusion, but with a just a bit more development all around it could be much improved. A solid start from a promising writer.

Andrew Wehrlen does a good job narrating and I look forward to hearing more from him.

Chase Baker Man Of Fortune And Fame

If you liked Indiana Jones, you'll love Chase. Jones looked for fortune and glory, Baker looks for fortune and fame. This anthology has 'The Shroud Key', 'The Golden Condor, and 'The God Boy'. I was gifted this from the author.
