Publisher's summary

Though Angela Donovan is out of work and needs money for rent, she yearns for her eight-year-old daughter to have a carefree holiday. The last thing she wants is the pressure of her daughter expecting a miracle. But when they pick out a Christmas tree at a cozy Massachusetts tree farm that's exactly what happens when they learn the trees might be miracle trees. Mark Shafer is soon to be the new keeper of the Christmas trees when he inherits the family farm. He'd like to run it with a family of his own, but his girlfriend wants nothing to do with farm life. He makes plans to sell so he can propose to his girlfriend and pursue a career in music. Then he meets an unforgettable customer and her daughter, and an anonymous gift compels them to learn the truth about the trees. With a buyer willing to pay top dollar for the land, Mark has the fate of the trees in his hand. Will he be able to see what and who is most important? And will Angela give the miracle of love a chance?

Hallmark movie worthy!

The characters pull you in and you find yourself waiting for their Christmas miracles . As I was listening to this book I found myself wanting to see it as a Hallmark movie. I highly recommend for anyone who loves Christmas , roamance , and faith.

Sweet Christmas Story

This was a cute Christmas story that had several surprises at the end. However it was tough to stick with the audiobook due to the poor narrator. There was very little inflection in her voice making the reading come across deadpan. Glad I stuck it out though as it ended quiet happy.

Great Christmas listen

I enjoyed listening to this book. It was a great story. I always love a good Christmas story, movie, etc. There is just something about holiday stories that warms my heart. This book was no exception to that. I have not previously read or listened to any stories by this author but I would definitely pick another one up for sure. I enjoyed the narrator as well. She did a good job at reading it with a nice energy and pleasant voice. I would listen to another book narrated by her. I hope to listen or read more of books by this author and or narrator.

Ending is a disappointment.

It's a lovely book, but the ending... disappointing. it ended so abruptly. I was anticipating hearing more about what was in the box. what happened to the tree farm? did they replant with the seeds they found? Just left wondering.

Sweet Christmas story

I enjoyed this story overall, the narrator was really good. Angela is a hard working mother that only wants the best for her daughter. Her daughter is so sweet and loves her mother and Christmas. It was great hearing about the Shafer farm, I love Papa and Donna. For awhile I didn’t care for Mark but thankfully that changed. I love how Angela’s and Mark’s is connected and the ending is great.

Lacking

This story could have been wonderful; however, it’s poorly developed and the narrator needs a lot of work. The story ends abruptly and there is a major lack of development in the relationship between the main characters. The whole thing is rushed and disconnected. The narrator rushes through the story and lacks voice development for the different characters. An epilogue may have helped to tie up the MANY loose ends but I still would not have felt connected to the characters. Overall, it was disappointing.
