From number-one New York Times best-selling author Debbie Macomber comes a heartwarming new series based in the Pacific Northwest town of Cedar Cove, where a charming cast of characters finds love, forgiveness, and renewal behind the doors of the cozy Rose Harbor Inn.
Jo Marie Rose first arrives in Cedar Cove seeking a sense of peace and a fresh start. Coping with the death of her husband, she purchases a local bed-and-breakfast - the newly christened Rose Harbor Inn - ready to begin her life anew. Yet the inn holds more surprises than Jo Marie can imagine.
Her first guest is Joshua Weaver, who has come home to care for his ailing stepfather. The two have never seen eye to eye, and Joshua has little hope that they can reconcile their differences. But a long-lost acquaintance from Joshua's high school days proves to him that forgiveness is never out of reach and love can bloom even where it's least expected.
The other guest is Abby Kincaid, who has returned to Cedar Cove to attend her brother's wedding. Back for the first time in 20 years, she almost wishes she hadn't come; the picturesque town harbors painful memories from her past. And while Abby reconnects with family and old friends, she realizes she can only move on if she truly allows herself to let go.
The Inn at Rose Harbor is a welcome introduction to an unforgettable set of friends.

What made the experience of listening to The Inn at Rose Harbor the most enjoyable?
How both guests came home with major problems, little by little they work themselves out. What other book might you compare The Inn at Rose Harbor to and why?
I'm sure there are books out that have alot in common with this one but none come to mind. What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She has an infectious voice, she livens up any books she reads.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Both, just as Josh makes peace his step-father dies. All of the pain and suffering Amy went through she found out that most of her high school friends did not bring it up. Her parents explained when they moved, many activities opened up. Her dead friends parents were a little harder, they blamed Amy, but in the end they realized it was a horrible accident that no one could forsee.I missed the Cedar Cove residents.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, but I would say that this series is based on sadness and very little joy. But it is still worth a listen. What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I love narration by Lorelei and often search out stories she narrates. She does a great job.Any additional comments?
I hope that future books aren't quite so dark. I understand that the point is Rose Harbor Inn is a place for healing, however, one can heal and still have some joy in their lives. I don't know if I would read an entire series that is based on sadness. I also recommend that playing up the mystery portion of the series can add more depth and less sadness.Great start to this new series, but....
