Evil can be very attractive.
Kiana Taylor's life is spiraling out of control. Plagued by insomnia and dark memories, she is on the verge of insanity. She sees a sexy doctor on TV, promising a way to solve her problems, so she pays him a visit, deciding she has nothing to lose. He is willing to help, taking her on as a subject in his sleep study. How much trouble can a psychiatrist be?
Dr. Stavros Kane comes alive when Kiana steps into his office. She is perfect for his study, but not for the reason that she thinks. He wants her and he will use her problem as a way to get closer.
When Kiana begins to suspect that she is a part of more than a harmless sleep study, she starts to investigate Dr. Kane. What she discovers makes her want to run, in order to save her very soul. He takes her on a dark, dangerous, all-consuming carnal ride. She knows that she needs to get out of the devil's clutches. But does she really want to get away from him?

Lacy Laurel brings this all to life with a fantastic performance. Each character a different voice and she lets us feel the darkness of this story. I enjoyed her performance and look forward to more.

Cursed with chronic insomnia, Kiana signs up for a sleep study, in hopes to finally get a good night sleep.
Dr. Stavros Kane is handsome, rich and has a secret. He's obsessed with making money and thwarting the authorities. His life seems almost perfect until he meets Kiana Taylor.
This book was so crazy and action packed. The adrenaline rush from the constant sneaking around made this book very entertaining. My biggest caveat was the insta-love... not a fan of this, if this is your thing, then this is the book for you!
My biggest issue with this audiobook was the narrator's performance. There were times that I struggled to hear what she was saying. There seemed to be an echo at times.

I am sorry to say that I could not get into this story. The plot was okay, but I did not connect at all with the characters. Kiana is a very naïve young woman and unable to think for herself. Dr. Kane is just a scumbag who does what ever he wants whenever he wants. The two are very one dimensional and I did not feel the emotions or chemistry between them. The story moves along at a good pace and narrator Laci Laurel speaks clearly but I was not pulled into their story.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Just not what I thought

Now the story, this story was amazing! Yes it is dark, yes Stavros is not a very nice man, yes some people may not like the story line, but I loved every line.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
An Awesome Story You Must Hear!

What would have made The Devil's Dream better?
This was probably the worst narrator I have ever listened to. It wasn't so much the sound of her voice but how she read each line- like she didn't care at all mixed with sounding like she was a 6th grader. The story had promise but I couldn't get over the narrator so I stopped after chapter 8.
Would you ever listen to anything by Stella Noir and Roxy Sinclaire again?
Possibly- but I would definitely read more reviews before spending a credit on one of their books again.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lacy Laurel?
ANYONE else!!!DID NOT FINISH!!
