Good story but bad narration

Enjoyed the story line and the way he had been so in love with her for so long. They went through so much together and overcame so many hurdles. Loved the ending. Hated the narration. Both voices seemed so off for the characters. It made the story feel cringy at times - just because of the voices. Based on the previous books both characters had seemed a little different than what I had been anticipating. I thought there would be a bit more humor between the two of them. But it was still a good story. Some angst but not over the top.

Oh how I’ve waited for this book

Best. Of. The. Windsors.

Out of ALL of the brother’s books, I’ve been dying for Xavier’s and Sierra’s turn. I laughed, cried, and literally listened to it start to finish without stopping. This is because there is no point that you could put their story down….plus the narration is top notch!

Literally the best one!

This one was my absolute favorite of the series! I cried, laughed and even cussed a few times lol… it was so raw and I felt what Sierra felt. Well done narrators and very well done Catharina girl!

This is the End

I am so heartbroken the Windsor Series is over! This was everything! The only thing I had a tiny issue with was the narrators. Sierra’s sounded way older than she was and had a hint of English undertone. It made them sound a lot more serious.

Great story

I absolutely love the story. That being said, I didn’t care for the female voice in the story. I felt like there could’ve been a better pic for the voice of Sierra.

Voice tones fell short, but still good

The book was a wonderful read, but the audio version didn't quite capture the same magic for me. While the narrators were outstanding, the tone of their voices didn't harmonize with the characters as foreshadowed in the series.

Sierra's voice belonged to an older British woman, which conflicted with the youthful and energetic spirit her character was meant to have. Xavier's voice was well-suited but distinctly African American, a characteristic not suggested in the series.

Their relationship throughout the series was crafted to be a nemesis and business rivalry, offering a mix of excitement, passion, and the classic enemies-to-lovers trope. However, the audio version presented them as an older, established interracial couple, with personal/ internal issues which felt inconsistent with the series' original tone.

Worth the wait.

Sierra and Xavier relationship has been teased through the entire Windsor series, it was worth the wait. Now I’m patiently waiting for Enzo and Valeria lol

The anticipation for this couple -WORTH THE WAIT

This was my least favorite narrator couple- Xavier’s voice didn’t fit what I was expecting, nor did Sierras but I did love the story.
Their antics over the years during the other books built up the anticipation for this book so much. It didn’t disappoint.

When Grandma makes her announcement and pushes back at Sierra’s refusal by saying it was her last wish my heart broke knowing sadness would come later on. Xavier was so thoughtful and sweet and brought Sierra around quickly.

The properties he stole from her and the meaning behind them when he gifts them to her-so cute.

There was so much angst in the other books this one seemed too cute but I should have known things would change. The way Xav behaves after the kidnapping is heartbreaking for sierra. But I loved how his family showed up for her. The father in law sitting in the car with her. Loved!
The final straw was when gran dies. I won’t lie I was sobbing in my car. Having also been close with my G this hit me hard. She leaves him with the full support of his own family with her. The dinner when they all showed up and he wasn’t invited was great. What he does to win her back- their story- swoon. And the rest of the book was great.

What this leaves me with is a deep need to know what happens to the rest of the Kingston siblings. Will there be a new series where they all find love too? I hope so! Especially Enzo and Valaria. I’d love more of her story. It reminds me a little of Archer’s ex from mine for a moment. I’m also hopeful we’ll revisit her story and that of Serenity’s brother as it seems like there might just have been something there. Regardless I can’t wait to see what C.M has in store for us next!
