Nobody, about nothing.....

....in particular. An old classic, I've listened to multiple times. I'm not quite sure what the draw of this story is to me. It's a bit hard to explain even what it's about. I guess I'll just say that it's sort of written as a diary of an ordinary guy living an ordinary life. There are no big surprises and no fantastic ending. Just well written in an odd sort of way. It's got a bit of mild humor tossed in, but as far as anything major, I can't pinpoint anything. I just like the book.
The narrator does a nice job with this one also, so if you're looking for a pleasant book with no violence, bad language, or action, then this is the book for you. It also makes great bedtime listening.

If you loved Three Men in a Boat...

I actually DID love Three Men in a Boat and the Very British sense of humor in that book is very similar to what you find here. So I think most people who loved the one will love the other. For me though, I couldn't really give myself over to the absurdity enough to really appreciate this. That may have more to do with me and my personal feelings of anxiety over the world at this moment. I suspect if I read this at a more carefree time, I might have enjoyed it much more. So for anyone else who loves Three Men in a Boat, or even The Office (British version), I would recommend.

Absolutely lovely

At first I was not impressed, but I kept listening. Very glad I did. The narration was divine and added so much fun to the story. I will definitely be listening again!
