About this listen

The most powerful organization in the world is about to suffer the worst attack in history. The Lucidites, a powerful race of Dream Travelers, have enemies - and they are tired of them reigning supreme.

The Lucidites, using their vast resources and super powers, have been protecting the world for decades. The problem with that is those who crave power, and are fueled by greed, have never been able to fully succeed....Not with the Lucidites policing the world.

A deadly series of attacks send the Lucidites scrambling to protect their headquarters, their people, and the innocent caught in the crossfire.

It's time that all the powerful Dream Travelers come together, to fight an evil that's grown too powerful, and threatens the planet itself.

In this Avenger-like installment, multiple Dream Travelers, from across many of the series, band together to overcome monsters that seek to erase the future of the human race. Will the Lucidites save the day, before it's too late?

All together now

This novella is the sixth book published in Sarah Noffke’s Ren series, which is part of her Dream Traveler universe. Chronologically, it would come before Ren Book 5. It will make the most sense if you have already read The Lucidites Series, The Reverians, and at least the first three Ren books.

As always, Ren has a filthy mouth and frequently insults everyone around him. He is so mean sometimes, I’m embarrassed to admit that he makes me laugh and I can’t help cheering for him. It is fun to see him working with characters from the other Dream Traveler series and seeing how much the characters have grown.

Tim Campbell’s narration was wonderful as always. His pacing is good and I enjoy his character voices. The voice and British accent he uses for Ren is perfect for Ren’s arrogance and snarky comments. I definitely recommend the audiobook.

I purchased the ebook and was given a free copy of the audiobook by the author. I volunteered to provide an honest review.

I absolutely loved this story

I absolutely loved this story! Not only do we get another dose of my favorite character, Ren, but we also finally get to see why the Lucidite institute was abandoned and how Trey ended up in a wheelchair. There is lots of action, intrigue, and of course, there is the usual great snark and sarcasm from Ren but in this story, you also get to see the depth of feeling Ren has for “his people”. Tim Campbell’s narration is as brilliant as always and he portrays Ren to perfection. His is the voice I hear in my head whenever I read any book with Ren in it. All the various Dream traveller series are brilliant and this book is no exception. It not only brings characters from various series together, is an engaging story but it also ties up a lot of loose ends in the Ren series and gives us a chance to enjoy this exceptional character once again.

Waste of Time!

Out of sequence. Books 1-5 are fabulous. Book 6 is a total disappointment. What a waste of 1 credit!
