About this listen

Revenge won't change anything - or will it?

From USA Today best-selling author Jillian Dodd comes the second book in a sizzling series filled with action and adventure. Fans of The Selection and The Hunger Games will discover a heart-pounding thrill ride of espionage and suspense set in glittering high society.

The world's most deadly assassin, a man known only as The Priest, has come back from the dead to take a series of high profile hits. When the assassin completes his first task - shooting an important world leader - the global community goes into collective shock and his government vows retaliation.

With her cover firmly cemented as Huntley Von Allister, Spy Girl's vacation on the Royal Yacht is cut short when she's called home for her next mission - and, this time, it's personal.

Can Huntley accomplish her mission before the next hit takes place?

And what will happen when she finally comes face-to-face with the man who killed her mother?

This series just keep, getting better and better Huntley is getting close to the answers of her mother’s death. Can I say I love King Lorenzo and his and Huntleigh’s love story it’s a slow build which I am loving.

Not worth the credit, just read the book.

Amazon really needs to figure out a way to reduce the cost of audiobook I shouldn't be having to use a whole credit to buy these books when if you buy them in the Kindle version they don't cost the same as a normal book cost. For example I'm pretty sure the Kindle version (if you don't have kindle unlimited) It's like five or six dollars. Where as a regular book is anywhere from 10 to 15. These books are cheaper because they're shorter and quite frankly that writing is nowhere near up to par as your standard book. I'm Curious if there's like different levels of standards for books when it comes to publishing and such because while these might be considered like "young adult books", even the books I read as a young adult were much better than these. There's often inconsistencies in books like these With character details and such. I originally bought the books and read them, and they're pretty good when you just read them. But I bought mine with iBooks and recently it appears Jillian Dodd has taken all of her work off apple. Since I got the first two books for free, when authors remove their work that means you lose the book which I think is kind of ridiculous. I'd be curious to know why she took her work off Apple but I'm assuming it probably had to do with licensing costs or what she was making per book. While these books are on kindle unlimited and like I said I own the last five on Apple but I'm currently getting my Masters right now and I just don't have time to sit down and read the books and I want something easy to listen to in the background while I do my work. But back to my point of the fact that when you buy the actually text book they are reduced cost, these audiobooks really should be a reduced cost. The narration is garbage, I apologize to the narrator because I realize it's probably not your fault. Maybe your new, I don't know what it is. But it is highway robbery when you factor the narration in the top of the previous things that I mentioned for these books to be a whole credit. Like the narration is single-handedly what has turned me off to these books. I could justify the cost if the narration was at least up to par with your standard credit. I mean it's really that bad, I would give it no stars if it was possible. If it's Jillian Dodd herself who is you know kind of negotiating the cost of this audiobook, she is incredibly greedy as an author and I have like no respect for her. But if it's Amazon who's setting the cost of this audiobook, So they can take a higher cut well I already didn't have a lot of respect for you as a company but it's definitely lower. I know most people probably think well you on the audiobooks so you know it's worth the credit But I will literally never listen to these again due to how crappy the narration is. If they want to charge your whole credit for these you should at least be able to exchange them

Story is good

However, I would like the narrator to have a greater ability to speak the words she is reading (i.e., pronunciation). Also, it would be greater if the author know the difference between a clip and magazine when regarding firearms. Lastly, please use military ranks so they are somewhat believable.
