An Education that is so Soothing

The narrative and narration are superb. I learned a good deal, and enjoyed it even more. Might I recommend it for calming bedtime listening?

Profoundly Elegant

The poetic prose of Rachel Carson is beautifully read in this performance. This book creates such beautiful imagery in the mind's eye. I will forever visit the seaside with a much invigorated and inspired perspective.

Beautiful book, beautiful narration

great way to learn about the creatures living on the Eastern aeaboard as far south as Florida. Carson's writing is informative and poetical. You can really tell how much she loves the sea.
