About this listen

This is the second volume of a trilogy that began with Power vs. Force and was completed in the year 2003 by the publication of the third volume entitled I: Reality and Subjectivity.

The Eye of the I (which calibrates at 950) is more advanced than Power vs. Force (which calibrates at 850) and brilliantly reveals the very core of the spiritual process critical to the state of Enlightenment.

The Eye of the I

The intrinsic power of the information provided in this startling classic is sufficient of itself to elevate the consciousness of the listener. This likelihood has been anticipated and provided for by preparatory recontextualizations. Included are verbatim dialogues with advanced students, instructions, and explanations that illuminate the spiritual teachings.

The Eye of the I is a brilliant work that dissolves the barriers between the known and the unknown, between science and spirituality, and between the Newtonian linear paradigm of the ego and the nonlinear reality of Enlightenment. With the resolution of the self, the self shines forth and reveals one's true identity.

A Soul’s Yearning Fulfilled

I am so immensely grateful for this work. My entire life has been transformed as my understanding of the non-duality of all things has been catalyzed and continues. Love, gratitude and joy are present daily and are expanding experientially. thank you Dr. Hawkins, Gloria en Excelcious Deo. There is no doubt.

Educational and Transformational!

I have read five of Dr. David R Hawkins MD’s books. I have gotten a great deal out of all of them. I don’t agree with everything he says, for instance, I find his stance on heavy metal music, hip hop music, and AA to be problematic, but I’m willing to chalk that up to his perspective given the times these works came out. Many things have changed since these works were written. Honestly though, the fact that the book contains things I don’t agree with only seem to further emphasize and validate everything that did align with my life’s experience, which was by and large the vast majority of the contents of this and all the other books of his I’ve read. I would say that “letting go” is perhaps the best introduction to his books, as I find it to be the most accessible and least “out there.” I might not have gotten as much out of this book if it had been the first of his that I’d read. That being said, I enthusiastically recommend this book for anybody interested in personal growth, going through an extraordinarily challenging time in their life, coping with copious feelings of loss and despair, or anyone seeking to escape the doldrums of stagnation or embrace an entirely new approach to interpersonal and spiritual relationships of all kinds.

A very detailed explanation of spirituality!

The book focuses on the idea of consciousness and the evolution of the human mind and examines the idea that the true nature of reality is non-dualistic and infinite.

Hawkins asserts that the human mind can exceed its limited perceptions and achieve higher levels of consciousness, ushering in an extraordinary understanding of the world and ourselves. He presents how this process can be achieved through practices such as meditation and self-inquiry, and how it can ultimately lead to a state of enlightenment or "Illumination".

Through the book, Hawkins draws upon his own experiences as well as insights from different spiritual and philosophical traditions to support his ideas. He also provides a detailed map of consciousness, outlining the different stages and levels that individuals may go through on their spiritual journey.

Overall, "The Eye of the I" is a thought-provoking and insightful read that offers a distinctive stance on the nature of consciousness and the human intellect. It is recommended for anyone interested in spirituality, philosophy, or personal growth.

Another astounding book by Sir David Hawkins

Even though I have yet to fully grasp many of the high level concepts and things talked about in this book, I thought that this was a fantastic read. Will definitely be relistening in order to better understand.

Absolutely love the narrator of these books, I personally find his voice very grounding when I am feeling upset or agitated

Enlightening Indeed

First, I am not sold on his muscle testing methodology nor am I ready to buy into his new scientific field. Nevertheless, I was thoroughly pleased and learned a great deal from these books. Dr. Hawkins has certainly helped me approach things from a higher perspective, so to speak. I will be reading more of his books for sure.

Resets me to hear this

I love reading the David Hawkins books periodically because they give my intellect and some deep inner knowing within me a significant boost that I enjoy. At the same time I cannot disregard that this book contains very much of exactly the same information in power and force and I believe is likely to be duplicated in other texts. No matter it’s still worthwhile to hear it as I notice it benefits me just to listen to it but I don’t know that there was much different or deeper cognition on an intellectual educational level as a result of reading this

Eye opening and transformational

For the average person as myself I will need to read/listen to this over and over. To try to grasp it all in one time would be amazing..but that’s not going to happen, nor should it. Dr Hawkins studies are beyond and so relevant to the understanding of ourselves and humanity at large.
