Publisher's summary

This is the seventh book in a progressive series based on the revelations of consciousness research. It describes in detail how to discern not only truth from falsehood but also the illusion of appearance from the actual core of reality. The text explains how to differentiate perception from essence, and thereby enables the listener to resolve the ambiguities and classical riddles that have challenged mankind for centuries and baffled the best minds in history. While modern technologies have provided a plethora of new toys and conveniences, the basic problems of daily existence remain. This book provides the tools to survive and regain fundamental autonomy and inner harmony while living with the complexities of the modern world.

Needed by humanity today

Humanity would benefit a great deal if it were to take the time to understand this, regardless of whether they implemented the gifts or not. Instead, this is reserved for the student looking for the ability to surrender.

Another fantastic Hawkins book

A lot of the same material as Hawkins' other books, with and emphasis on spirituality and religion. Thought provoking and life altering content.

Get ready to see reality

20 years ago, this author made predictions based on how they saw the world and they were right. This book is a very serious look at our world today and it was written almost 20 years ago at the time of this review. Be prepared when you listen or read this book, because it eye-opening what the author saw and sees for a future.

Amazing book!

If you're familiar with any of David Hawkins' other work, this is just as good as any of them. Personally, having listened most of his stuff, this is probably my favorite work of his. It takes a lot of his teachings and applies it in context of everyday life. Although a bit outdated at times (this was written during the American Bush era, so he discusses some of the major issues of the time) the principles still apply just as much in context of what's going on today if not even moreso. This is a book you can listen to over and over and continue to benefit from each time. After finishing the book the first time, I actually found myself immediately wanting to restart and listen again, something that I've never wanted to do before.

It's very difficult to summarize his teachings, but the basic principles are that of transcending the limitations of reason and linear thought to reach higher levels of non-linear consciousness through devotion to God (The Infinite or The All) and dedication towards unconditional love by aligning to spiritual principles such as kindness and forgiveness towards all of humanity. Even for people who are not very spiritually minded, I find his writings quite convincing, and I think anyone can learn and benefit tremendously from his teachings.

The other review saying he has a big ego is a completely ridiculous claim that couldn't be further from the truth. Anyone even slightly familiar with Hawkins would know better. If you're not familiar with Hawkins, Transcending the Levels of Conciousness would be a great starting point in my opinion.

You can expect some purposeful repetition between chapters and references and sometimes direct quotes from earlier books. Hawkins makes it clear that this is intentional considering the depth and complexity of his topics. Personally I found the repitition helpful, and it helped to make the concepts stick with me.

I'd also like to add that the narrator is absolutely excellent, and I sincerely hope he continues to narrate all of Hawkins' works.

Hawkins specialty

The narrator conveys to words clearly adds understanding to the overwhelming content. This book does requires understanding of previous works, in particular Truth and False hoods. It required myself to lots of pondering. I now realize more reading and pondering is required. Answers may be elusive because we can only reach the best we individuals can reach and share.

Not David Hawkind

If you've ever read and liked books by David Hawkins such as Letting Go, i do not recommend you buy this book. I have read almost all his books and loved them, however, this one is promotes separation and judgement. Very disappointing.
