About this listen

From the two-time Maxy Awards winning author of An August Harvest and Another Lifetime Ago for best romantic suspense!

Warner Saint James is a decorated Navy Seal. He is also a brilliant artist. From his imagination, he paints the woman of his dreams; an olive-skinned, black-headed, brown-eyed beauty. But when he hangs the canvas in the window of his Key West gallery, he inherited from his late Aunt, a Mafia Capo storms in the door and demands to know where the woman in the painting is. He angrily tells Warner that the woman in the painting is real and alive. Her name is Olivia DiAngelo, and he has been searching for her for over 10 years.

Warner realized that if this was true, he must have painted the woman from his memory, not his imagination. He must have seen her somewhere before, but where? He has no idea, but if Olivia DiAngelo is a real live woman and she is hiding from the Mafia, Warner knows he has no choice but to find her somehow...and save her.

Absolutely spellbinding

Ben has done it even better this time. The twists and turns will hold you until the very last word. This is definitely one of the best books I’ve read- could not put it done!

You don’t want to miss this one!

Ben never seems to run out of wonderful stories to tell. I’ve read everything he has written, and you definitely want to read this one. His writing pulls on our heartstrings and always leaves us with a sense of love for his characters and respect for the written word. You can tell he loves writing for a living, it’s in every chapter.

Loved this!!

What a great story! I love Ben Marney's stories. I have read and listened to some of his other books and he never disappoints. The narration was great. Ben's voice is such a comfort. I could listen to him all day. And I loved Cathi Colas as Alvita! Great listen!
