Editorial reviews

Performed with sultry, evocative flair by Abby Craden, master storyteller Mary Mackey’s The Fires of Spring is volume three in her Earthsong Trilogy, a richly imagined romantic adventure. Listeners are transported back over 6,000 years to a time of magical divination, curses, nomads, and warriors. In the land that would become western Russia, Queen Marrah’s beloved son is captured and entranced by the magic and nefarious Changar. In a test of will and daring, a young female avenger named Keshna must take on the mighty Changar. Written with intrigue, romance, and good humor in equal parts, The Fires of Spring is perfect for a cold winter night.

Gripping story

Great story. Really love the narrator. She really does the voices well and has so much inflection. Sad that I finished the story. I want more.
