About this listen

Step into the magic and wonder of The Forest of Enchantments, where shadows of the past melt away and new love awaits...

Olive flees a cruel marriage and finds sanctuary in the enchanted Whispering Woods. Creating a home for herself in a forgotten caravan adorned with climbing roses, she builds a cozy haven filled with the aroma of simmering berry preserves, foraged mushrooms, and the gentle purring of her feline companion.

Olive's peaceful existence takes an unexpected turn when she meets Roen, a rugged woodsman with his own painful past. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, they must learn to trust again. Together, they explore the wonders of nature and befriend a colorful forest-dwelling community known as the Wanderfolk, all while rediscovering the healing power of love.

Set against the backdrop of a bountiful forest wonderland, this soul-soothing fairytale for adults weaves together themes of healing, self-discovery, and the strength of chosen family. Don't miss this cozy escape into a world where nature's beauty and true love can mend even the deepest wounds.

To start, I this is my first time reviewing any book. I'm new to giving my take on things in an open forum. This book lives up to what it says it is. Cozy, cottage romance. It gives off very chill vibes and can be very calming to listen to (not a fan of the virtual reader, but it was fine). I do think there should be a trigger warning for a scene early on, however there could be one on the physical copy. I am not sure. The characters are pretty kind and polite, but don't really have a ton of depth. I think with and extra two or three chapters to explore the main couple and bring in some more mystical elements would've been like adding some honey to this warm, calming tea.

Very Cozy
