About this listen

Mischief and vandalism escalate, putting lives at risk. Is the sabotage linked to Sue or the town’s founder?

As the stakes rise with each incident, often forcing the closure of Sue’s new garden shop in the town founder’s historic log cabin, she can’t imagine the reason.

Even after the health department blames the taffies sold at Butterflies and Blooms for the recent foodborne illness in Aspen Notch, Sue feels certain that someone has orchestrated a scheme to close her business permanently.

But why?

The Garden Shop Mystery is a cozy mystery that combines an engaging whodunnit with the historical past. If you enjoy small town charm, a touch of romance, and an amateur sleuth who has an uncanny ability to make connections, you’ll love Kathleen McKee’s second book of The Aspen Notch Mystery Series.

It had a slightly slow beginning but once you got into the story it was really interesting. I genuinely didn’t see a lot of the twists coming and it tied everything together wonderfully in the end

Interesting twists

Every little thing the lead character did was stated. They ate a lot of meat!

Endless detail

It was a good story. It had a couple of twists and turns. Sometimes the unimportant details seemed tedious, there were some threads that were left without explanation or conclusion. The virtual voice is terrible! .l haven't thoroughly enjoyed any book read by a computer. I hope this trend does not continue.
