Publisher's summary

Everything is right on track for Danielle as she prepares for the grand opening of her bed and breakfast. All that changes when her cousin, Cheryl, shows up to claim her share of the inheritance - housemate Lily figures out there is a ghost in the house - and the million-dollar necklace goes missing. There is blood on someone's hands, and if Danielle isn't careful, she'll be moving from Marlow House to the Big House.

That was really good

I had it figured out out. right right away. But I enjoyed all the twists and turns. I've read the other reviews and simply can't understand why some people are so picky. I've read thousands of books in my 60 yrs from many of the classics to these modern stories and can appreciate the effort and hard work it it takes to create something out of nothing , as I'm a professional songwriter and musician. Yes some books are better, however all represent the authors hard work and imagination.

I’ve really enjoyed this series

Thought these books would be silly, but I was surprised to find them greatly entertaining. Well written and somewhat different than any other mystery book I have ever. 👍🏻

Good!

I enjoyed this book of the series but missed Walter, too little of him, my favorite character! Not as good as the first book but good.

Ugh the cousin!

So well written I couldn’t stand her! Loved the book And can’t wait till the next one. The story sucked me in so even though I didn’t like the cousin I hate to keep listening to see what happened. The performance was top notch, from Danni to her cousin the switch was so good.

Great twists and turns. Good story. Don't really care for this narrators voices. I do like the characters though.

Catty Cousin Cheryl

Nice follow up to The Ghost of Marlow House.

Danielle's cousin Cheryl shows up with ill intentions of contesting their aunt's will. She feels that she is entitled to half of the estate and is completely enamored with the Thorndike necklace. When Cheryl and the necklace turn up missing, Danielle finds herself high up on the lists of suspects.

The mystery was great. Most of the characters were believable, except for Cheryl. Her cattiness was just over the top. And then her sudden change of character mid-way through was just a bit to much to swallow.

I loved that Danielle finally shared her secret with Lily. I will continue with the next in this series. Nice cozy mysteries.
