Two newborns and a toddler under one roof, with another one on the way, can be challenging for any parent, but add an unwelcome spirit with the sketchiest of reputations, and you'll have the local mediums scrambling for a resolution before the toddler spills the tea.

I absolutely loved this book. I listened to it in one day and can’t wait for the next book to drop. I love how the beachfront drive crew is growing with all the new additions. Can’t wait to see what the next one brings as the ending leaves you on a cliffhanger as always. Bobbi Holmes always put her readers in the center of the story.

So happy Marlow House is back

This storyline just keeps getting better and better. The narrator gives each character their own unique personality. I look forward to the next book and hope there’s many more after that.

Possible Spoilers:
Lily’s water breaks and Emily Anne Bartley is born 3 weeks early. We get a little comic relief and alarm through Ian’s mom June Bartley, and sister Kelly Morelli.
The ghost of Clay Bowman appears in the Fredrickport Cemetery and Pamela Beckett refers him to the Mediums on Beach Drive for help in contacting his sons. He can see now he’s passed that he made many mistakes in raising his sons and wants to get them off the wrong path they’re on. He appears to Heather asking for help. It doesn’t escape him that any Medium who can help him are all those who he wronged in some way.
Wesley Sadler’s ghost hears Pamela’s info and asks the Mediums for help in protecting his widow from his predatory brother who just wants to marry Bonnie and kill her for her money. Chris believes Wesley’s hiding something but they can’t get the info out of him. The denouement at the end is delicious. Hope we get to find out what happens to Riley.
Chief McDonald and Evan believe it’s time for Eddie to find out Evan sees ghosts and they clear it with the Mediums about how much he should be told. Eddie finally believes when he gets proof positive through Marie’s talents. Evan and Marie do a fair amount of assisting the Bowman twins, Eric & Zach, in getting messages from their father and in saving their bacon.
Nordlinger does a decent job of narration. It’s not bad, but I would really appreciate just a little more character differentiation in their voices.

I stumbled across this series in 2024. I quickly listen to one hook after another until I was all caught up. That’s 30+ books in a month! The storylines are great and you start to feel as if you’re part of this close net group of friends who are mediums living a small coastal town solving problems as they arise. The characters are so relatable and fun. If you want an easy to listen to series, this is a must!!
