Pippa Grant never lets me down. I was in need of a good rom-com after a few darker books. This was perfect! Seriously, PG books guarantee laugh out loud moments. I think Sabrina and Grey’s story was even better than Lanie and Theo’s. Loved it!!

I just LOVE when a one-night-stand turns into a future boss!!!

The Gossip and the Grump, is the PERFECT blend of world’s colliding, vengeance gone wrong, a heroine who isn’t afraid to put someone in their place (because…you know…THEY DESERVE IT!) but also likes to gossip (wellllllll…not anymore, she says), and a deliciously hot man to spill said heroine’s guts to!

This book was a hilarious, hot read, full of everything that makes a romantic comedy…exactly that! Author Pippa Grant has written a perfect second book in the Three BFFs and a Wedding series that make you want the next book in this series like I do! I absolutely fell in love with these opposing characters (Sabrina and Greyson), their coffee shop, the town, and the revenge plot!

I absolutely recommend you read book 1 (The Worst Wedding Date) first…because the author has written the perfect lead into the second book. You will definitely enjoy it more (plus, you get THAT much more PIPPA! This light-hearted, LOL book was exactly what I needed to brighten my day!

Jason Clarke and Callie Dalton were perfection as Greyson and Sabrina!!! Jason Clarke can do no wrong…yes, I know that is my opinion, but I said what I said…and Callie Dalton was a new-to-me narrator who I absolutely loved as Sabrina! Their narration took this romantic comedy to a whole new level! LOVED it!

I loved the journey of Sabrina and Grey. Callie and Jason are the perfect duo to bring the characters to live. Love Pippa’s writing style. I would say it helps to read the first story in the series before this one. You enjoy the story more knowing the backstory. Love the sweet banter between all of the side characters. The trio brings the story to the next level.

Classic Pippa Grant! I never thought I’d want to live anywhere else in the Pippaverse other than Copper Valley, VA but I’m ready to start packing to move to Snaggletooth Creek, CO! Full of Pippa’s signature quirky characters, The Gossip and the Grump hits all the right notes of hilarity, heat, and humor. Sabrina (the gossip) and Grey (the grump) are perfectly imperfect humans doing the best they can with the messes life deals them. Jitter the tweenage St. Bernard puppy is the latest in the line of animal characters that could easily steal the show but instead are the perfect complement to the story.
As always, top notch narration. Jason Clarke is perfection and Callie Dalton shines. I can’t wait for the next story in the series and hope we come back to Snaggletooth Creek again and again as we travel the Pippaverse.

This story was super cute. Great start, great ending. I think it drug on a bit in the middle with all of the “I don’t want you” “I can’t be with you” back and forth.

The way that Grey finally got his peace from Chandler’s actions and his ex best friend’s actions was very poignant!

This was narrated by Jason Clarke who is a top fave of mine and Callie Dalton who has a lovely voice with a cute little lisp that is barely noticeable at times and super noticeable (but doesn’t deter from her performance) at others.

I really enjoyed them both and Jason NAILED the dog POV Epilogue!

I listened to the audiobook version. I adored Jason Clarke’s narration. He always does a fantastic job capturing the humor, emotion, and swoon-factor of MMCs. Let’s be honest: I could listen to him all day, every day. Callie Dalton does a decent job as Sabrina, but, in my opinion, if you have listened to multiple audiobooks narrated by her, you’ll start to notice that her performance doesn’t vary from book to book. 4.5⭐️ for the narration

This is such a fun series, and I'm excited to read Emma's book next!

Loved this audiobook. The story was deep and serious at times, but with lots of warm and caring moments too. There was plenty of great banter and no one writes animal POV’s like Pippa Grant. Jason Clarke was awesome as Grey, giving him such warmth, s3xiness and delicious grumpiness. Callie Dalton as Sabrina also did a wonderful job. This was a great story and I highly recommend it.

I had so much fun listening to this delightful lovers to enemies to lovers romcom. Sabrina and Grey's story is hilarious, heartwarming, sweet, and loads of steamy sexual tension. Sabrina was feeling guilty after letting her best friend down at her wedding in Hawaii. She wanted to do some acts of kindness, and that's when she met a handsome stranger, and had a wonderful night of passion. They really liked each other, but Sabrina left before Grey woke up, knowing she had to get home and protect her families café. Little did she know that the new owner is the man she ghosted in Hawaii. Grey was disappointed when Sabrina left him. Now he isn't sure he can trust her, being used by so many before, but especially because of the secrets he holds for wanting this café. Sabrina grew up in that café, and can't imagine her life without it. Now, not only is she working on being a better person, she is trying to convince Grey to love it as much as she does, along with all the local, quirky residents who stop by daily. The more they work together, the harder it is for them to deny their attraction. But they both have so many secrets, can they reconcile them, and find their way to their HEA? I really fell for both Sabrina and Grey who were so endearing and just laugh out loud funny. They were so different but their differences were where they shined. Sabrina was sweet, and knew everybody, where Grey thrived on solving puzzles and was so adorkable. I loved their little quirks, their fun banter, and their chemistry was off the charts! I also loved all the amusing friends and family, but Sabrina's dog Jitter was the best!
Jason Clarke, and Callie Dalton did a fabulous job bringing this story to life. I loved the way they developed and expressed these characters, and their struggles so intimately, making each character come alive, making me care for them, and cheer for their HEA. I really enjoyed their performance as they made this delightfully entertaining romance even more captivating.

I will never forget Super Vengeance Man (really a food guy, aka Duke/Gray).

I loved how Chandler's name was used in various ways as a slur and I sure hope that Pippa Grant gives him his come uppance in future books. Although I suspect he too, will be given another chance at redemption, because we ALL know why he looked scared and panicked when Gray mentioned Sabrina's name to him, because Chandler knows too.

The performances by Callie Dalton and Jason Clarke were spot on. Jason's rendition of Jitter in the second epilogue was hilarious and SO well done! Thank you.

Thank you also, for being so respectful in how Zen was portrayed and narrated, I loved it.

For those who don't like open door sex scenes, please move along since Audible offers clean romance as a category to choose from, just go there.
