I first read this book on my kindle and loved it, but then I listened to the audio book and I LOVED IT SO MUCH MORE! Prince of my Panties is by far my favorite Lili Valente book. Princess Elizabeth and Prince Jeffrey were perfect! He was so broody and serious and she was such a unique, quirky character and that made their story so much fun and exciting.

There is so much I enjoyed about this book. It had a wonderful enchanted element to it that was captivating. Prince Jeffrey was so amazing. His attentiveness to Lizzy even when they were kids was so sweet. He had such a sweet spot for her. I knew he loved her the moment he saved her in that library.

Shane East brought Prince Jeffrey to life! It was pure perfection! Lilly Valente as Princess Lizzy was also fantastic. She is so talented. She’s narrated quite a few of her books and each time she gives her characters their own voice. I love it.

I think I’m ready to give this my third listen.

Living her life with a curse hanging over her head wasn’t really living at all. In order to protect others from her curse Lizzie never allowed herself to do the things she wanted, enjoy life or fall in love. Enter Prince Jeffrey who decides it’s time to help her break this curse once and for all.
I loved the innocence of the relationship between Lizzie and Jeffrey. If you are a fan of contemporary romance you will enjoy this story.

Love this. An engrossing story with all the heat and passion I expect from Lili Valente. To add to this good story is the fantastic narration by Lilly herself and the indomitable Shane East. She knows how to entertain and keep you interested..

A rather strange but heartwarming story. The whole thing about the gypsies was strange but at the same time came together rather well. I enjoyed watching Jeffrey & Lizzy come together.

The narration was spot on.

This book has such a unique story line! I wasn’t sure what to think when I read the blurb, but I am so happy I took a chance! This story is set in modern times. It’s not a historical fiction novel.

Elizabeth is quirky and hilarious. I absolutely love her. Prince Jeffrey has this grumpy, buttoned-up exterior, but underneath he is the perfect match for Elizabeth.

So many royal secrets. You’ll have to read for all the delicious tension and to see how everything plays out.

Let’s talk about that audio. I always think Lili is perfect. I love her voice. It’s soothing. Joe Arden’s accent in this book is PERFECTION. Ooooh he’s the perfect Jeffrey. You could listen for the narration alone, but you’ll stay for the story & HEA!!

Quirky and Grumpy and Hot!

This is book two in the Royal Package series and this picks up where book one left off which was with Lizzy and Jeffrey together. Lizzy is convinced she is doomed and cursed and she is determined to get her sister married to the Prince that she was promised to. What she didn't know was that she is actually better suited for Prince Jeffrey all along.

This is a cute story that has a royal aspect with mystery and curses and lies all mixed together.

Lili Valente and Shane East narrate this book and bring what is needed for these two characters. Lili with her quirky version of Lizzy and Shane as Prince Jeffrey.

This is the first book by this author I have gotten. It had great potential and great characters. Just not as good as I hoped.

This story would have been great without the mystical curse divergence. Veered the story and just not the direction I hoped for. I will probably still get the next book in the series because the characters had great chemistry in this story and are moving from supporting to main characters. That and the fact that spy genre is not likely to have a magic undertone (at least I hope not). Narrators were really good on this one.

This book is fantastic! I love how all the sweet and sexy is mixed in with the more serious aspects of the story and then humor is interlaced throughout and tied up neatly with a carnal bow. Not only can Lili Valente write the heck out of a RomCom, but she narrates like a dream too. With Shane East as Prince Jeffrey (so swoony) and Lili as Elizabeth (sweet ), magic surely happens when you listen to this story. It really adds so much to the feeling and emotion of a book when the narrators are this wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this one from beginning to end and felt all the things. I especially enjoyed laughing out loud at some of the quirkiness of Elizabeth and how she even seems to lead Jeffrey more in that direction as the story goes on. And he did in fact become the prince of her panties but I am pretty sure she ruled his royal package! This was a lot of fun and a real pleasure to listen to.

Although royal romances aren’t my go-to reads, Lili Valente is one of my favorite authors; therefore, I gave The Grumpy Prince a try. Im SO glad I did!

The second book in the Rugged and Royal series, this wasn’t like any royal romance I’ve read before, and I was hooked soon after I started listening. In fact, I stayed up until 3am, because I couldn’t put it down! With a contemporary setting and virtually everything occurring outside the influence of the typical trappings associated with royalty, The Grumpy Prince read much like a small town romance.

Lizzy, strongly influenced by the effect of a Romani woman’s prediction when she was young, lived every day planning the best for those she loved and creating designer lingerie - her art. Lizzy never allowed herself to consider what would be best for her, as she’s mired in what she believes is her fate. Jeffrey, the son of long-time acquaintances of Lizzy’s parents, is on a quest to prove she’s switched identifies with her twin sister to dupe his older brother and foil their arranged marriage.

I found both MCs well-developed, and their journey together relatable and believable. As typical of Valente’s work, The Grumpy Prince included both sweet and steamy scenes, a satisfying HEA, along with a delightful epilogue. Additionally, a preview of the next book in the Rugged and Royal series was included…a nice treat!

Shane East and Lili Valente are stellar narrators…they brought Jeffrey and Lizzy to life! I highly recommend The Grumpy Prince to any devotee of contemporary romances!

He’s just the kind ofman you’d want to find you, if you were hiding out and sick. He takes care of her in every way.
After the build up to the big issue she has, the ending was too simplistic but overall a good read.
