If you read one screenwriting book in 2020 this is it!

I've read countless books on the craft of screenwriting but The Guide for Every Screenwriter: From Synopsis to Subplots: The Secrets of Screenwriting Revealed is by far one of the best books on the subject. Easy to understand, well organized and choke-full of valuable knowledge bombs. Highly recommended.

I am inspired to try to write a screenplay!!

This was an insightful look at the world of screen writing. I have zero experience in screen writing, and I felt like this was laid out in such a way that I would be able to try to write my own screenplay. I have made it a goal to spontaneously try new things and I am excited to take a crack at this now! There was a great blend of information and entertainment that made it a great listen!

A great tool for screenwriters

This work of nonfiction is a great tool for those with dreams of screenwriting. The sections on structure/ plot section with subplots & Concept / theme triangle are really helpful. The narrator is excellent and the accompanying pdf is invaluable. Highly recommend this for not only beginning screenwriters, but seasoned writers as well.
