Good basic info on Ireland for such a short account. Regarding the narration, the only distraction for me was that he read it with a tone of voice as if he's reporting the news, rather than reading history.

Newscaster Narration

The gross incompetence of the narrative in pronunciation of the most basic words was insulting in the extreme.

Mind boggling in its ignorance of pronunciation

The sound quality is terrible during chapters 7 and 8, but overall a good, quick read.

Perfect if you want a brief history

Every word, name, or place that is even remotely Irish was horrible mangled and mispronounced. Guy clearly walked into the studio and just read it all out loud for the first time. One example: Colmcille was pronounced Cumseal. Should be pronounced Colum-Kill or close to it

Terrible narration

15 minutes in ... the audio goes bad. I’d like to reload it but don’t see an option for that.
