Not worth it

Nothing like his other books about the Denver bookseller, which were very good. I wish there were more of them.

The story was sound enough but ...

The required physical effort for a 37yo desk jockey was a bit of stretch as it needed Jason Bourne levels of toughness

I'm not going to make it through this book

I've tried to listen to this book twice on long commutes, shut it off or fast forwarded both times. I'm hoping it gets better - can't sell my audio copy in a garage sale.

An early Dunning

Dunning is one of our favorite authors. This book is one of his early works, and the storyline is great, but he belabors the tension in some of the scenes, so not flawless. Would still highly recommend!

Quite A Story!

This book started slow, but became very interesting as it progressed. The author has an incredible story telling ability. I kept waiting for the next turn and how he brought tidbits from the early part of the story and wove them seamlessly into the guts of the tale. Give this book a chance. It’s very much worth it in the end.
