Publisher's summary

Pero Moshe’s mom vanished from their Oregon home, and the prophecy says it will happen to Pero, too. But when it does—and Pero is transported to an older universe, life gets more than a little nuts.

Throw in a bodyguard who is almost criminally cute, a corrupt and brilliant doctor who wants to steal Pero’s power and rule all of Moon City, and her mom showing up as a pawn in the whole thing. And all Pero wants is to grab her mom and go home.

But, uh, yeah, that’s not happening.

In the end, Pero is forced to choose between forgiveness or escaping with those she loves before a shout crumbles Moon City’s walls to pieces. And both choices come at a cost she’s not sure she’s willing to pay.

I appreciate the plot but lacking substance

I got to Ch.8 & stopped. I really wanted to push through & like this but I couldn’t. The protagonist is not relatable/realistic. She gets betrayed, kidnapped & thrown into a whole new world and has little to no emotion. I was like you’re not upset? Betrayed…moving on like that didn’t just happen? We’re just going to forget about that and be totally be chill in this new world & instantly start bonding with the people who took you? It didn’t make sense. I wanted more passion/umph. The overall plot points are there but the writing in between lacks substance. Everything is glossed over. I just gotta keep searching for another Christian themed book :/

Exciting, faith-filled, fantasy adventure!

The King’s Feather is an exciting and intriguing story. I liked the fantasy elements, and the visual descriptions made me feel like I was there with Pero in Moon City. Pero is a likeable and relatable character. I enjoyed her wit and sarcasm, and was encouraged by her faith journey. The author/narrator has a nice voice that is well suited to the main character. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great book

You can hear the readers hard breath in the mic. Could've have us a wind screen or a pop filter.

It was good!

It had a slow start, but it picked up at the end. Overall, I will say the book was good.
