About this listen

When a hired gun returns from the railroad wars to find that the life he left behind is no longer waiting for him, he is forced to seek a new future as he sets out with infamous outlaws Dave Rudabaugh and John Joshua Webb.

As Charlie longs for a different answer and watches options fold before him, he finds himself drawn deeper into the rebellious ways of his partners as they journey through the seedier sides of New Mexico while trying to keep ahead of the law and being hunted by a legendary bounty hunter.

This new tale from the author of Scarecrows of Golden Prairie is an action packed wild west adventure you don't want to miss!

We start with a good man and husband, that when the government starts requiring Taxes on Land goes to the Railroad Wars. After the War is over Charlie is set on going back home to his wife, stopping along the way to hunt some rabbits for Stew. There while hunting he is come across by Dirty Dave, a outlaw and his partner John Joseph Webb. He invites them home with him, telling them how his wife makes the best rabbit Stew. Narrator does a good job with the characters voices and the entire storyline.
