Publisher's summary

Who was Frank Peter Balistrieri, the last and most power godfather of the Milwaukee Mafia? Based on hundreds of FBI documents obtained by a Freedom of Information request (as well as substantiating research), Wayne Clingman and Zack Long lay out a timeline of Frank "The Mad Bomber" Balistrieri's rise through the ranks of the Italian-American criminal underground and through his time controlling Milwaukee. From car bombs to the fabled Las Vegas casino skim, Balistrieri's little-known story is sure to prove a captivating one.

Milwaukee Mafia

This was a very well researched book and easy to follow along with. Relying heavily on FBI files of Frank Balistrieri, the author paints a very interesting story of the volatile leader of the Milwaukee mafia. You certainly didn’t want to cross this dude! A very solid and important work, for anyone wanting to learn more about the mafia back in the day!

A solid book.

This is a book independently published. There are not many books on the Milwaukee Mafia. The city is always overlooked in the media and movies. This author decided to do some research and make a book about it. I enjoyed the book. If you don't know much about the Milwaukee Mafia Id say give this book a try.

It sucked .

The narrator was very annoying and butchered Mr. Frank's last name every time he said it.
I grew up in Milwaukee.
My father and Frank were friends since childhood.
I thought I would hear or learn something new but I was wrong.
"Mr. B" Was actually a very kind man.
The G-man totally conspired to set up Frank, John and Joe.
This book was definitely not worth the time or money.
