About this listen
Bluebells bob in the salty sea wind, and the cottage gate swings open to reveal the inky-blue cove. It’s exactly how Kitty always pictured it...except in her head, she wasn’t standing here alone.
Kitty Roberts spends her days searching for the perfect home for two...until her boyfriend dumps her. Devastated, she flees to a tiny seaside village called Pennystrand, where she spent golden summers as a child, before her family fell apart.
At first, Kitty’s dramatic escape proves to be exactly what she needs—golden sunsets over warm, sandy beaches, lovably eccentric new neighbors, and even a blush-inducing run-in with Cory Hudson, a floppy-haired local surfer with a heart-stopping smile.
But just as Kitty feels herself beginning to heal, Cory reveals that his time in Pennystrand is nearly up. What’s more, some strange reactions to Kitty in town make her wonder if her connection to this place might go deeper than she thought.
What is this tranquil little village hiding? It seems there’s a secret in Kitty’s past that is about to turn her life on its head once more.... Is she ready for the truth? And will it bring her and Cory closer together, or drive them apart?
A story full of unexpected twists and turns. It will make you smile, laugh, and wish you could visit Pennystrand! Absolutely perfect for fans of Jenny Colgan, Heidi Swain, and Carole Matthews.

Editorial attention needed for this
A very sweet listen and heartwarming story. I enjoyed the narrator very much and her capturing of the mood and her expression.
Unfortunately there are double takes on the audio that need to be edited out. That doesn't detract from the story.

Loved the narrator. She made the characters so real. Just loved her laughter just at the right time with just the right laugh for the situation. She made this into such a fun and lighthearted story that I didn't want it to end. Just loved it.

Little House by the Sea First and second review
This one started out quite good and after getting use to the new names of all the people, plus how their voices all sounded with one person carrying on through. This always amazes me how it is able to be done, just as if so many were just talking on. Quite as undertaking for the author to plan this out and to find the best Narrator. This was certainly done here with the Tracy Rees books so far, Lu Corfield you certainly were very good. Would have given ten stars if possible.
SECOND TIME I HAVE LISTENED TO THIS STORY. THERE DID NOT SEEM A PLACE TO WRITE ONE. SO HERE IS THIS SECOND REVIEW.
Such a great story and the second time was even better. Just a comment about the last page or so about the ending person chatting with her about all the special times the house is calling home. The two were having conversations the evening before turning in. It was Jerrie, her good friend. I do not know who this Jerrie or Jerry was. I guess I missed somewhere along who she was. It kept mentioning she and then her. Not a fellow.
So good and her narration was super and loved her laugh. Do recommend this one and I am sure you will be glad you did decide to add this one to great stories. Mainly I look for stories read by a reader that puts feeling into all the characters and keeps them separate. I reread my first edit and it was not, for me, the easiest to listen to multiple characters. I am retracting this in this one. I do think it is wise to listen to a good book a second time. I have done this with all the Tracy Rees Novels. Seem to get more from it doing this.
I am going to listen to another of hers, I have not listened to LITTLLE VILLAGE CHURCH. New Narrator, but I have listened to the sample and she was a easy voice.
Do have to use a credit this time for above.
