Detective Inspectors Vance and Shepherd reunite in the second book in John Broughton's Vance And Shepherd Mysteries. After a murder is committed in a quiet suburban subway under a tramline, it becomes obvious that the murder squad is dealing with a copycat killer.

The murder is an uncanny repeat of their previous case, and their inquiries are complicated by the presence of the main suspect’s doppelganger, Melanie Bradshaw. The London Tram Murders by John Broughton is #2 in the Vance and Shepherd mysteries series. This book appears to copycat the murders in The Quasimodo Killings. Vance and Shepherd have to use all resources to try to get ahead of this killer. There are a lot of twists and turns and the story keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Just when you think its over, it may not be! The narration by Michael Langan is excellent. He uses separate voices with different accents and inflections so the characters and story come alive. I received a free audiobook and am writing my unbiased review.

At first I was apprehensive about listening to the second book with hearing the first one before hand but there was no need to worry. This book was well written, wonderfully narrated, and kept me compelled to the end.

A deeper look into the criminal mind was fascinating! Between opportunities and plans, this was a work of art for the mind. Manipulation and twists . Edge if your seat stimulating! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing the characters and story to life.
