About this listen

From the New York Times bestselling author of Forever My Girl: The Motion Picture, Heidi McLaughlin takes you to the classic New England Coast and immerses you in a tale of art, romance, and the magic of a beachside romance.

Eloise Harris, a talented artist, returns to her beloved hometown of Seaport after years away. With her aunt's prestigious art exhibit, the Endless Summer Showcase, on the horizon, Eloise is determined to make her mark and catch the attention of . . . well anyone in the industry.

Little does she know that this summer will be filled with unexpected love and life-changing decisions.

Kiel Collier finds himself in Seaport for an extended family vacation, seeking answers he's unable to find elsewhere. But when he crosses paths with Eloise on the pier, their lives intertwine in ways neither of them could have imagined.

From stolen glances to secret rendezvous, they embark on a passionate affair against the backdrop of sunsets and sandy shores.

Cute summer romance. Wonderful beach listen

The Love in Sunsets is a beautiful, slow building romance. I was transported to a beach life I have never experienced. The authors paint a world a want to visit and never leave.

I walked barefoot on the beach letting the damp sand ooze through my toes. I breathed in deeply, exhilarated by the ocean air. I found peace in the crashing waves. I sat in the sun absorbing tranquility. The stunning sunsets, painted in words of the authors and oils by Eloise, have taken up permanent residence in my mind.

Eloise has come home to the beautiful town of Seaport. She has come home to paint and make a name for herself in her aunt's gallery. She has no time for romance, especially with a tourist she spots on the beach. Her only desire is to capture the sunset. That is until she spots Kiel watching her. She can't stop thinking about him.

Kiel is in Seaport with is family for the summer. He has decisions to make, a future to plan. Then he sees her. He sees Eloise capturing the sunset on canvas at the beach. Without trying she has captured his attention. He can't stop thinking about her.

Eloise and Kiel are a forbidden romance. She has rules against dating tourists. He knows his time is limited. They are doomed to fail but that doesn't matter. Together they explore the area. Together they explore each other. I gushed. I swooned. I even blushed. My heart was all a twitter. I was sucked into their story, their love, their families, their friends.

Eloise and Kiel are beautiful together until life interferes. Their futures are hanging in the balance. The truth is on the canvas, a canvas that now hangs in my memories.
