Would you listen to The Man Nobody Knows again? Why?
I would listen to this book a few times a year. Barton presents the Biblical stories of Jesus in a wonderful way. Presenting Jesus as a "real person" strong, intelligent, and insightful. There are insights to gain from this book for daily living, working with people, and how to handle oneself. Even if you are not a religious person there is great value to be gained from this book. What about Dan Dunlap’s performance did you like?
Dan Dunlap is one of the best narrators I have heard on Audible and I have listened to well over one hundred of audio books. I would like to hear him on more books.Jesus is "The Man" and Barton makes that clear

My next challenge could totally be chalked up to the time in which this book was written... It noted, the description of Jesus in the Bible was found to be a forgery (I thought "where is he going with this".) It likely to do with the time the author lived in, but this guy went on to describe the man Jesus told to get up and walk,"... looking up into those blue eye". The liberty he took is too much. The Bible does not need to be changed to fit someone's insecurity. And Jesus is no less awesome, appreciated, and The Son of God with hair of wool and skin of bronze.
I won't touch on the misogynistic under tones.
I wasted a credit on this fictional book.
So sad.
Fictional,
