About this listen

I am the whole package. Ego and flair, with killer finesse. At the snap of my fingers, women fell at their feet for me. Until the day my eyes lock on Harper. She brightened the entire coffee shop, flat- lining my heart and stirring my hunter’s blood. One thing is crystal clear - this spirited temptress who talks with her hands will be my future bride.

Rejection is not an option.

However, the skeletons in my closet are stirring; it’s only a matter of time before they pick the lock and break out in full vengeance. For better or worse, I will have to face my past dead in the eye.

Everyone’s got a dark side - and Harper has no choice but to love mine.

One of the things I enjoy about audible book is visualization and getting into the story line if the narrater can capture your attention where you can actually see what’s going on in the book. Unfortunately I couldn’t get past the stumbling of the narrator and soon lost interest. I began reading the book myself and I enjoyed it immensely the book is only good when the narrator can capture your imagination this was not the case for me.

For the price, this story needs some updates. The narration wasn’t good either. Lots of errors. Still, the plot was good and the characters likable.

Too outdated

The narrator was not good, a lot of unedited mistakes. Some if the chapters were stupid. Getting tired of good girls always thinking they can help in dangerous situation. The mall chapter near the end of book and stupid to think a stranger would not let you go cause they dont agree with your choice. Not believable. This writer needs to work on her writing.

Not great

I was okay with the story but the narration was awful. If you narrate and make a mistake edit them out. I believe this might be her first time because I can't believe someone who does this for money would produce this as a finished product and get paid and not review it.

Horrible Narration

the narrator skill story she kept repeating certain words. but I think that's the partially due to the recording session that they did and her voice changes were distinctive but still annoying but that is my personal preference so I can't say that it's on her but I do prefer someone else besides her but her. In this story because her male voice wasn't strong enough and her female voice didn't exactly hit the mark. the overall story itself was okay almost typical alpha male with a shady past and passive female who chooses not to pay attention to signs which is typical of these type of stories. It's a plot device that doesn't give real credence to the main female character. there were some extra details that made it slightly different. which is much appreciated and it was kind of surface level of development for each character and the plot itself but it was entertaining enough for a short little read/listen.

the story was way better than the narrator perform

I usually don't complain about a book I listen to but the narrator voice was uninteresting and the the story was too exciting either. I didn't like the way the author chose to write the story.

Slow and boring
