I adore this author and this series!! The historically accurate/paranormal story is one of my favorite genres. Keeps your attention. I do wish Sandra and Max would stop arguing in every book tho. Haha.

I love these stories.

I’m through Max Porter Box set 3, working on Box set 4 now. I have Marshall Drummond’s case files waiting in case the next Max Porter isn’t ready yet when I run out. I LOVE listening to these stories! I’m a huge Sherlock Holmes fan and love to solve the mystery before the end of the story. Max Porter stories are all different because of the subject matter, so that’s fun, and it’s not so easy to figure out whodunnit. Stuart Jaffe has a great voice and the characters really come to life. I started by reading the books and then listening to them on Audible. Fun, fun! Please keep writing about Max, Marshall, Mother Hope (creepy), and all of them!

Keep writing and narrating, I’ll keep listening!!

The Green Trilogy takes the Max Porter series to new heights with fresh storylines and character development. Southern Rites starts things off strong, picking up where the Red Trilogy left off, with new twists and turns that keep the plot engaging. While the appearance of Max's mother in Southern Rites may not be everyone's cup of tea, the growth of the other characters more than makes up for it. Southern Craft ups the ante with the introduction of new witches and deeper explorations of the craft, and Sandra's character development is a highlight of the book. However, the Porter family's constant bickering and lack of communication can feel forced at times. Southern Spirit picks up right where Southern Craft left off, with the same level of intensity and action-packed scenes. While the continuation feels seamless, it also gives the impression that these two books could have been merged into one. The ongoing frustration with the Porter family's communication issues and bickering is still present, but the new developments in the story and relationships really bring it home. Overall, the Green Trilogy is a wild ride that fans of the series won't want to miss, even with its minor flaws.

Max Porter and company are called on by Mother Hope, the Dardens and other witches, to solve their trials and dilemmas. Another great set of books! The Green series.
