A broken-down baseball team soars when a new player, a human-looking robot, pitches shutout after shutout. After it is discovered that he's a robot, the only way he will be allowed to continue to play is if he is altered to become more human.

Most of these Dramas are pretty good, but I did not care for this one. Here Rod tries to be funny and maybe it was funny in it's day, but I did not laugh.

Not so funny

An episode totally devoid of the Twilight Zone feeling, that made it such an iconic series. Perhaps "marginally chuckle-worthy zaniness" is a better way to describe this episode.

Not a very good episode. Not very bad either. Just, meh!

Rod Serling strikes out...

If your a true fan of the tv show you are about to be disappointed with these made for radio episodes. They rework some of the most famous tv episodes but that’s the hook. Because these “episodes” made for radio are often credited to Sterling they are too ridiculous for words. Don’t bother if you don’t recognise the title. Not worth the effort. I’m sure even Rod would be rolling in his grave “ in The Twilight Zone “.

Waste of time
