Publisher's summary

The reason "sinners" ran from the religious, yet ran to Jesus had everything to do with his heart's attitude toward people. They could sense Jesus was for them - not against them. Unlike the Pharisees, who could only see the mud of sin, Jesus saw a masterpiece under the mud that was so valuable, he was willing to give his life to restore messy people to the original work of art he created them to be. Combining an engaging study of Jesus's encounters with imperfect people with inspiring stories of ordinary Christians having Christlike impact, this insightful audiobook encourages listeners to see the masterpiece beneath the mud in everyone. It shows how to align our hearts with the heart of God and our actions with the interactions of Jesus in order to show God's love to a hurting, broken world.

Inspiring book.

As I listened, I was inspired to make changes in how I approach people at work who are struggling. I realize how judgmental I have been. I need to look at the masterpiece God made instead of focusing on the mud. I intend to go to the website to see what info and resources are there. Thank you for writing this book.

LIFTED SCALES CONTINUALLY

I knew my heart was hardening. Knew What I needed. But even though I didn't like who I was, I chose to just stay there. I have been listening to this, rewinding, replaying. MUCH NEEDED REMINDERS, EYE OPENING WORDS, Knew and know of Pharacees. The Slow, gradual bitter attitude I had, still have is THANKFULLY softening and compelling me to Want change. Habitual negative thoughts I am choosing to take captive rather than allowing them to fester from me to others. Highly Recommend and APPRECIATE this audio to be available at A much needed time.

This Author is Wonderful

This man is just the best. He breaks it down to very understandable and meaningful content. There wasn’t a part of the book I didn’t like.
